Where oh where will Warnock go?
Robbie Warnock has advised fremantle that he's heading east for family reasons....
Melbourne and Carlton have both shown interest. where do you think he'll go?
Melbourne are struggling for a big man with White getting old and Carlton could use a solid talented big man like Warnock but there are plenty of other melbourne clubs that would love another big man like him.
My money is still on Melbourne

he should go to melbourne they just got rid of white and dont really have a ruckman but then again if he wants to win a flag he should just go to geelong or hawthorn, but neither of those teams have much need for him at geelong we could use another one cos well mark blake is a bit iffy.

i was shocked that the cats axed king and held on to blake.... i mean sure the youth policy and all but he's no young dean cox..... he's a bit soft if you ask me, if it wasn't for ottens the bartel-ablett-corey power house would have to work a lot harder for clearances (not that they dont have the talent for it anyway)....

Who cares? Has he ever done anything? Just because he is tall and can run a bit does not make him a good player. If Melbourne really want him they will get him Nick (the weak prick) Stevens style.

gee you're right because no one who 'hasn't done anything' has ever amounted to much. ablett hadn't done anything when the Hawks traded him to geelong.... tool

Wow tool, im sure Ablett wasn't traded because of his football ability, and to compare one of the best players of all time to Warnock, hmmm. You bright spark you, keep on truck en.

you really don't get it do you shane?
warnock isnt getting traded because of his ability either freo would love to hold on to him and if you'd have watched him play you'd realise he is a big up and coming talent!
my point is you can't tell a player from what they've accomplished.... just like james hird was draft pick number 65, champions and great players aren't immediate, they develop over time and warnock has some real talent, hence a lot of clubs have shown interest

Of course i've seen him play, I wouldn't have made the comment if I hadn't. When he played in adelaide this year he ran around like a headless chicken and what i've sen on tv has not convinced me otherwise. I think if a club like carlton gave something decent for him it would be a waste he is just not that good. You cant believe everything you read but if these clubs give up good draft picks or players for him I think its a waste.

Considering the trouble Didak keeps getting into, Port may have won out of that non-deal with Collingwood.

Carlton is Warnock's choice but its not a done deal yet. Melbourne can have him and we can have Naitanui. Thats a fair deal..... I wish.

Yep read that in the Australian of all places. Herald Sun didn't have it.

Lets hope he is a flop though, Carlton have enough talent.

Maybe, but I know you look forward to Collingwood's exit. That the beauty of our rivalry.

I still think Carlton has enough developing ruckmen without adding another one - Hampson, Kreuzer and Jacobs are all in their first two seasons. That being said, it could be reshuffled so that Kreuzer plays the same role as Koschitzke with Hampson, Jacobs and Warnock as the ruckmen. This all hinges on them realising that Kreuzer's going to be more use to the team as a forward than as a ruckman.

He could be a tall utility yet, he's pretty mobile. Full-back, CHB, a tall wingman, might be used in a similar way to reiwoldt. Warnock won't hurt either

I dn't know.. He's definately a bit of a talent, but I don't know who's going to risk a good pick in the draft to take him.. I think he'd fit in fine with the Dons, it's really up to whether the list managers think we need that sorta player..

could be a good back up for Hille, Saints might pick him up as well King won't be around forever and Kosi doesn't do too much tap ruck anymore

I think the saints would be better served by doing an outright trade, Kosi for Warnock.

And the Dockers'd would go for it too - they love picking up dud players!!!

well mate considering your team relies on Cameron Cloke (bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha) for a lot of the ruck duties I think your recruitment cares a lot about warnock goes, he's a very talented young player

We're not trying to win next year's flag, though. Refer post below (which we posted roughly simultaneously), and there is the school of thought that our ruck problems can be solved with time rather than trades.
