Finals Tipping
Well the top 8 is finally locked in and what a disaster it was for Collingwood and North who both have to tackle interstate elimination matches now. I've been playing around with the FootyPost and AFL finals tipping comps and I reckon the home teams will all win: Hawks vs. Dogs
Crows vs. Magpies
Swans vs. Kangas

LOL WOW! I'm amazed! Firstly, a frankstonite, and bulldogs supporter! Did you get sponsorship to learn to read and write? What an inspirational story. Anyway, we are a grand club... you've only won 1 little premiership... team or no team, we still pull crowds, and members

Sorry Adam but that just doesn't make sense. This is why;
Hawks V Dogs- Dogs win and the move on to the prelim and the Hawks go into the second week. Hawks play the winner of the Roos V Swans.
Crows V Pies- Crows win and the play the Saints. Saints being the loser out of the qualifying and the Pies are out.
Roos V Swans- Roos win and go on to play the Hawks and Swans are out.
Cats V Saints- Cats win, Cats move off to prelim and Saints play the Crows. 2nd WEEK should be like this by your predictions.
Hawks V Roos- I don't know who will win now cause you picked both.
Saints V Crows- Well you didn't pick one at all. 3rd WEEK
Cats v the winner out of Hawks V Roos- As predicted the Cats to win.
Dogs v the winner out of Saints V Crows- As predicted the Dogs to win. Hopefully that makes sense, this being the current finals system.

It would be great for a team to win it that hasn't for a while. Doggies and Saints would be great. But yes - i will be going for the Doggies in the Finals.

im sorry to say but just because u played 1 good game last roundand even if u look at who u played they are not that hard to beat.... it doesnt mean that u are contenders for the final 2 teams. It will b either hawks dogs or geelong but i am saying hawks to pump geelong. i hope.... Denise

mate... like i said, saints have got themselves into a great position by playing good football in the last half of the season, unlike ur pies. also i think u will find that out of our last 8 wins we have palyed some quality outfits: we beat freo in a tough match (as u found out on the weekend freo can paly footy, they just lose the close ones) where 2 of our good palyers got dropped and the pressure was really on. turned our season around with a come from behind win against the kangas, who if im right finished above u. we also beat them wen they were playing good football. knocked of a revived carlton team who were in a similar situation as us. playing for the chance to paly in the fianls and we beat them convincingly, they kicked a few late goals to make the score not look that bad. a massive come from behind win against the hawks which made some so called football "experts" reconsider stkildas finals chances.. beat port in a tough encounter, and again came from behind to win. port were in last years grand final dont forget and have had a similar season to freo. not being able to finsih games. beat freo by 60 odd at subi. stkilda never play good football at subi. pumped the crows and bombers in the last 2 games of the season to push us into 4th spot. so to say that we had 8 cheap wins is kinda harsh, but each to his own. a few of those "cheap" wins have put some of our good palyers back in form and really lifted the teams confidence at the rite time of the season. will be interesting to see how we go this sunday. good luck agains the crows i hope win because i dont like adeliade, but have fun playing the cats the following week

i know that saints r a great side and all and i dont mind the saints all im saying is that because of how they played the last 2 games doesnt mean they are the best at seasons end, good luck againest the cats but i dont honestly think it will happen for use but good luck may the best team win..... lol we have beaten the cats b4 im sure we can do it again if it was to come to that lmao

haha nooo noo... the cats are easily the best team in the comp and the best at seasons end. behind the cats though i would say we are the most inform team. 8 wins from 10 kinda shows that . luck is definatly wat we need. haha. if were luckly roo will kick straight >< and kozi go sainters!

lol then y are we the only team to beat geelong, i just think we played well to keep them to a loss of 86 points but was a great game as i sat right behind the geelong cheer squad and man did they get it lmao. yea well i want geelong out cant stand that team would love to see another team beat them this time of year would really knock them into the really world of footy. you just hate geelong because you are still in remorse about last years Prelim final that couldve cost u a flag. Its all well and good for you to boast but it is the games that matter that count Denise.
You sound like one of them typical one eyed magpie supporters that dont have a nice thing to say about anyone who plays for another team.
Thats not what the spirit of footy is about.
write back when you have grown that second eye we've all been waiting years to see from collingwood supporters!

lmao so very typical... i have nice things to say about teams i like im not just gonna say i love ur team because u think i should, and prelim mm nah doesnt worry me in the slightest i love the pies win or lose they are still gonna b the team i support. yea must say i love my pies that much i am a 2 eyed supporter lol nothing amatter with my eyes.

Your not making much sence Denise. I dont think you should love geelong at all, i just dont think its fair that you are bagging them out for....well nothing. give credit where credit is due & maybe you will receive some in return.
So you dont care that Collingwood missed out on the grandfinal last year, but then u carry on to say you are such a big supporter? Id of thought that would make u even hungrier for the flag? Contridicting yourself a bit there.
And i don't think you get the concept of what one-eyed is.

i said behind geelong stkidla would be the most inforn team. i think the pies have played 1 good game for the season and that was it. to be fair though geelong was poor, that also may have been because of the pressure the piues put on them. but no one really cares that the pies beat them anymore haha it was to long ago. and yeah x clarke hasnt played all season. i think possibly one of the most important player is one u ahvent mentioned. kozi. as over rated as people say he is he can win a game by himself. he found some form last week so hopefully it continues.

mm, well i have to start by saying no, collingwood havent played 1 good game they have played heaps of good games i dont understand why people always say pies played only 1 good game, if that was the case then y are we in the top 8 you cant be in the top 8 with just 1 good game that doesnt make sense nah everyy1 makes excuses for geelong for y they lost i mean we played that game fair and square and won not our fault that geelong played crap, we are a side that always tries and if we dont suceed then we try harda the next week. Yea i know its old news but people are quick to bag collingwood about everything but when we do something huge like win againest geelong then u dont hear anything....  but my point is yea we always stuff up as a club even if only 1 player is the cause of the problem but we r a strong side.... same reason people say stkilda is the most over rated team in the afl... even though were sitting in the 4, above most of the clubs that supporters say we are. i never said collingwood cheated... lol. geelong had a poor game and u put lots of pressure on them. was good football. also its not that ur club stuffs up. its that dik-eddy mcguire goes out in the press saying things before the full story is out... thats wat made that incident worse. collingwood fans seem to have the attitude that the world hates them. they like to over dramatise everyone hating collingwood. as soon as something bad is said about collingwood suddenly its the "everyone hates collingwood" excuse. look at that stupid post rebecca made. are u acctually suprised that people dont like ur club or the majority of ur supporters wen u have imbocilies like her?

lol i didnt say u said we cheated i just said we won it fair and square. i understand bout the eddi sitiuation as a collingwood supporter i am getting sick of hearing bout eddi this and eddi that like yea i love te guy for wat he has contributed to the club but does he have to everywhere drives me insane.... I dont have the attitude that the world hates us. I just think that collingwood dont need excuses because majority of things said about collingwood are old news and we knew it already, and when people say something bad bout the club anything and everything u say i bet as collingwood supporters we have heard it all b4!!!!
in regards to rebecca i am not agreeing with u i stick by the collingwood supporters before i cross the line and help another fan from another club obviously rebecca is a true black and white supporter and the pies mean alot to her like they do me......

hawks will pump the dogs.... to easy. collingwood have form with adelaide and i hope the form stays as form. kangaroos will pump sydney dont think sydney have a chance as they lack the final momentum. geelong to pump saints not a chance in hell for st.kilda, even with how they played last weekend think the saints are lucky they have the 2nd chance think collingwood will be the only team to beat the cats this year until finals when the hawks kick there arse....
