Collingwood Supporters - What's it like in FANTASY LAND?
To all you Pies Supporters.
Yes that time of year has come where all you one eyed germs have such high hopes! I hope you all have learnt from recent years and stocked up on Kleenex Tissues as I am tipping you'll be needing them! Lets just hope that this year you meet Geelong in the Grand Final and not the Preliminary Final as I'm sure all AFL supporters will enjoy the day that little bit more when you get beat!

To Mr Clinton (inbread) Twoheads,

I feel sorry for you and your club of peasants, i really do. It's such a shame you couldn't make the finals. Oh go have a sook ya ****in wanker. Unlike you, we have something to look forward to. Why don't you tell Mr Matthew Lloyd Highpants and his granny army to start the cricket training now. Honestly, you guys will needed. Apparently, there is a charity game between the old veterans and the essendon squad. I actually think you guys must start training now if you wanna have any chance of winning.

Goodbye cocksmoker

Well said clinton. we know what collingwood supporters are like. wes they have sydneys measure know doubt, but have been to inconsistent to worry any one now. any way we all know that pebbles rocca is a far better prospect than big bazza....... at least thats what pie supporters would tell you

What's with David's and the CAPS LOCK?

Does being called David mean you aren't that smart to tell the difference between having caps on and caps off?

I would much rather Pebbles on my side than Hall. Not from a football sense, Hall has obviously got more talent but his mental state is dangerous to any opposition player.

Collingwood have been too inconsistent to worry anyone hey??? Yeah well who's the only team to beat Geelong this year. They have won 38 of 40 and we smashed em by 86 points and lost 5 in the prelim last year.

Your just pi'ssed off we smashed you last week and showed the football world just how sh'it your once great side has become.

gee your talkin smack guy, I'd love to ask how old you are, but unfortunately I know you can't count that high.
pebbles over hall? at least hall is on the ground. sorry mate but rocca is past his use by date. at least hall still has a couple of years left in him...
gee old wizard was good last night! no pavlich and the dockers showed ya how to play football. casting spells on the magical pies. hope you slept well knowing that once again your boys will make the finals and do absolutely jack ****.
spose you missed your drunken dissorderlies out there and that daicos try hard with the metro hair cut.
good luck if ya make it far enough to play geelong again. cause this time i would put a carton of some good quality (tassie) ale that you guys wont get within five goals of them. no depth = no premiership. another year wasted.
it was enjoyable watchin freo make you look so pathetic last night. the pies (like you guy) are a waste of space.

Ryan,

How are you buddy?? Got September off now hey. Ohh well.

I would take Rocca over Hall even with your stupid opinion considered.

You see mate, Hall is a trainer boxer and he has shown this year that mentally he isn't good. Imagine if he killed someone with a punch (remember Hookes) and the shame it would bring to Sydney. Considering Sydney banned him and then cleared him to play, they would be held accountable. Sorry mate but we have enough sh'it just by being Collingwood.

So I would take Rocca, you know he is going to try his heart out and is going to take the opposition's best defender. There is no way he will bring shame onto the Pies. Man I sometimes wish he had a bit more mongrel in him.

Ryan,
I slept very well last night, thanks for showing concern. By the way, I would much prefer to be in Collingwood's position than Carlton's. Unlike Carlton, Collingwood hasn't had everything go their way this year. Rusling, Rocca, Didak, Cloke and Thomas/ Davies would trouble any backline. However that's life and we at Collingwood just get on with business.

Collingwood has no depth hey?? I would go on record stating our depth is a hell of a lot better than Carlton's. You see we made the finals after losing our captain, vice captain and Licuria to retirement and had to cover the loss of Presti, Rocca, Reid, Rusling, Holland....... you get the picture.

So piss off mate at least until you can manage to communicate on the same level as me.

cant wait to watch you fizz out of the finals (again)
you should get together with rebecca. you and her could make some mean little munchkins. poor things wont get to experience grand final glory till malthouse gets axed. long long way away.
p.s. sorry for dobing you in about your little crush on big mouth bekky. good luck with that. be careful though with a mouth like hers she might bite it off!!

yep we did that. in the past we did that.... i agree.
now... we have a great coach, a great chairman, and a team that is growing into something out of the box....
when we lost all our draft picks for three years.
we had nothing. no depth, no skill, no speed nothing.... i believe the boys actually claimed there first wooden spoon without tanking, why would they want there first wooden spoon? dennis pagan, waste of time at carlton...
look out cause now were right on the ball missy. if the selection committee are wise over the break we could have a team to reckon with next year.

you guys have got a bit of work to go.

but of course you don't want to face those facts. the wizard proved that last night. lol!! i just wanted to high five him for showing the football world how many holes there are in the leaky collingwood midfield, defense and of course forward line.

Rebecca from Melbourne (Magpies supporter), 30 Aug 2008 15:20hide comment
Farmer the wizard didnt show anything, he was playing for his career so that he could be there next year...

I dont doubt carlton will be a force eventually but honestly you carlton supporters are carrying on as though you finished top 8 and were real final contenders... Let me remind you, your still not in the 8 and obviously wont be this year...

As for me facing the facts, i did when i wrote we played pathetic if thats not facing the facts then what the hell is Ryan...

High fives i cant wait to run on the field tonight and do that to buddy... Iv always admired him as a player and tonight to watch him take the coleman will be priceless... Poor fev... lol...

what i'd like to know is why collingwood supporters think that they're dually so good but also in some state to be pitied...

Pick one, either have your heads so far up you own arses to not care about anyone else and shuttup, or actually bring out some reason why we should respect you... Sure you beat the cats (no excuses) but that doesn't mean you're better than them. All that game proved is that one special occasions, when the time is right, you can make gold out of dog s'hit.

But if anything, we should all move on and look forward to your eventual defeat by one of the other 7 teams you finished behind, and the consequential sulking, excuse making and umpire blaming that we know you'll resort to.

you only JUST scrapped into the top 8.

i hope geelong do play you soft cocks in the granny to give u abit of Port treatment like we did in 07.

Oh no...maybe that will start world war 3 and you will be looking for more excuses for why you got hammered like blamming umpires or a last minute decision to tank

haha anything will do to avoid looking bad

Danielle,

Geelong has had 125 more free kicks than Collingwood. Geelong 1st for frees, Collingwood last.

Fair point Geelong probably deserve more frees with the pressure and skill level they have but not to that degree.

What concerns have Geelong had this year? NONE!
Injuries haven't affected you have they?

Collingwood has not put their best 22 on the park for the entire season yet smashed Geelong by 86 points. Through in the Shaw/ Didak situation and we haven't had much luck this season.

Yet that's fine by me, we have added strength to our depth and have become more united as a result of the Didak/ Shaw situation. Very similar to the way Geelong responded after the club review.

However we enter the finals with a chance to at least reach a prelim final. Considering the way the season has unfolded I'm happy to say, we have done well and improved from our 5 point loss to Geelong in the prelim last year.

u make geelongs season look like a complete walk in the park & thats not true at all.

injuries have upset us as much as the average club
eg. ling & ablett out for a few weeks including some of our most crucial games (hawks & doggies in consecutive weeks).

we had about 4 all australians out of the side when we played you guys.

besides i can accept the defeat, us..just not the unnessisary critisism and gloating that i cant.fact is collingwood played well and beat

we havnt had our best 22 out every week either but we still play to a reasonable standard and are winning.
such to a standard that we have won 40 out of our previous 42 games. now if thats not commendable i dont know what is.

Guy (Magpies supporter), 31 Aug 2008 21:32, Last Reply: 31 Aug 2008 23:03 hide comment
Danielle,

Put Geelong's injuries into context with Collingwood's.

Take out Scarlett (Presti) and Mooney (Rocca) and see how your season would unfold. I also took into account N Ablett's non playing status and matched it with Rusling being out even though he is a more rounded player than Nathan.

Geelong winning 40 out of 42 is amazing and very commendable however it will mean nothing if they don't win this years flag. That is serious pressure, something Geelong has previously not cope with.

I'm pretty sure last year we won the grand final by a record winning margin of 119 points so clearly the current side hasnt got anything to prove, we've made a mark in history and past teams are an outside factor that wont really determin the outcome of geelongs finals campagin in 2008 and beyong.

i think there was alot more pressure placed upon the side last year than this year because the 44 yr drought was to be broken and was in trumendous style.

Let's face the truth about Port Adelaide in last years Grand Final.

They were the luckiest grand finalists ever and this season has proved it. The fact the Kangaroos were also fakes and pretenders only helped Geelong.

In the entire finals series they played one game against a quality opponent and luckily for Geelong they were coming off an extra time win over in Perth.

Not trying to take anything away for Geelong, the hard work behind the scenes deserves to be rewarded.

When Scarlett was out you didn't play any teams of note in the context of the season. If he misses a game during the finals I dare say it will lights out unless it is against the Bulldogs, they have no big bodied forwards to exploit this.
