The "3 POINT RULE" for a rushed behind
Should not be brought into our regular home and away season. Its fun to watch in the pre season NAB CUP along with the 9 POINT RULE but to bring that into the season would kill the game. The Umpiring committee has already stuffed around with the rules enough as it is in the past 5 or so years!!!!!

I also hate the 3-pt rushed behind rule. But really, they've been proposing it since the Lightning Premiership in 1996 and it's never been seriously considered the the season. So I doubt it will happen.

just leave the game the way it is....
get it back to the old days when people didn't dive every five seconds for a free kick and accidental head contact didn't get you 4 weeks suspension.

i cant believe people are even kicking up a fuss about wat bowden did. ffs... who cares if it decides a match. if hes smart enough and game enough to do it wihtout turning the ball over n costing his team the game good on him.
the afl over react about everything these days and so do the media.

Agreed. No 3-point rule for rushed behinds. To be honest, I don't even like it in the pre-season comp, but I don't really take much notice of pre-season because most teams don't take it seriously anyway.
