True. But you look at any team and pick the 3 best midfielders in that team. Then take two of them away. It would have a huge impact on any team.

would ahve an impact. but to onli win 2/16 games i dont think it would be that great. ill give an example.
at the moment the saints are playin 14 players in there team of 22 that can be moved into the midfield. thats depth.
the cats played with no ling or ablet on the weekend and the youngesters stodd up wen it counted.
hawks ahve been missing crawfs and hodge through out the season and there still sitting in the top 4.

good teams have midfield depth (im not saying the saints are good, i was using them as an example because i no a bit bout there team)

Yeah I agree with what your saying and most teams can cover midfielders for a week or two. But these guys were elite midfielders and leaders of the club and there not just missing for a week or two. There gone completely.

But your right it does show up the Eagles lack of depth.

i said in 06 all it would take was for 2 of there key players to go and theyd be fuked. haha. they had so little depth.
