2001 draft saw these picks:
1) Luke Hodge
2) Luke Ball
3) Chris Judd

Now that we can look back, who would you choose in terms of their past playing ability and who would you choose in terms of their future capacity.

I'd go for:
Past - Juddy, brownlow, pretty much one of the most important players in WCE's premiership win
Future - Hodgey, juddy is struggling to be 100% fit with ostetis pubis etc, hodgey has really matured and has precision delivery and great leadership, has stuck loyal to his club thru tough times

Even to the future, I'd rather have a fair player like Judd in the team than a thug like Hodge. Both players trump Ball.

Well if you had the draft again you'd have to put Judd on top as he's been the best player in the comp for about 3-4 years now. Forget his current form which is still excellent just not as explosive. Hodge second but the Hawks would be rapt with there selection anyway. Saints I bet would love to have there pick again. Ball's just way off these two at the moment as he can't influence games like the others.

I would love to see Bally with no injury problems at all we have seen glimpses of how good he can be but not really he is getting back to his best now I think. Judd also has had some injury problems but is an excellent player. But on recent form I would like to have Luke Hodge at the Saints.
