The first was a typical Chapman trick. He had the ball in the cat's 50, ran towards goal and was tackled perfectly legally. So he did what he always does, stops using his legs to support himself so that the tackle slips from around his chest to around his neck. And of course the ump gave him the free - what's new there?
The other one was in the Eagles forward 50 - 30 metres out from goal. Ablett had the ball, was running with it and was tackled beautifully by Wirrpanda. Ablett lost the ball, he just dropped it due to the strength of the tackle. Any other player would've been penalised for an incorrect disposal. It was obvious that Ablett disposed of the ball illegaly. The resulting free would most certainly resulted in a goal to the Eagles too.
I don't even care mutch about the two sides. But the umpires have been giving Geelong too many favours for the past few seasons, which they incidentally don't even need. It just pisses me off that the Umps can be so biased towards one team or one player.
