At the risk of sounding like a poor loser, I want to say this:
You're just a champion Jake... clearly you didn't read the wording in the original post: "what's your prediction?"
Obviously my predictions were wrong - simple as that... seems we are all experts on the game and we are all entitled to our opinions.
I genuinely thought that Essendon would only win one more game and they have proven me wrong - good luck to them...
Perhaps you would like to jump onto this discussion board and remind me every time Essendon wins a game between now and the end of the year - hope it makes you feel good about yourself.

Fair enough Jake, hope you play some of the top eight sides on the run home and knock a few of them over.

it is hard to say who will finish where at the end of the year. i think the top 4 is set. from 5th to 14th is wide open for anyone to move up and down. the the bottom 4 will win games but wont play finals.

and a ridiculous fantasy finals series will go something like this:

geelong will beat sydney in week one after nick davis misses his snap at the death, the bulldogs will beat hawthorn by at least 6 goals, adelaide will cream north melbourne, incensing brayshaw although he'll be a happy that a south australian team is still in it, and the pies will narrowly beat us (lions) after big sauce gives away a 50 in the dying seconds.

then sydney will be knocked out by their nemesis the crows, despite marty mattner being best afield (and goodes will play after escaping punishment at the tribunal...again), while hawthorn take collingwood apart and lance frnaklin tops the ton.

geelong will account for hawthorn in a classic reminiscent of rd 6, 1989 as cam mooney runs amok, whilst the crows progress after beating the bulldogs in a prelim where brad johnson doesnt snap the last minute miracle goal

geelong to win the grand final against adelaide and dedicate the win to gary ayres and ronnie burns, while neil craig is elected prime minister.

and there you have it. that would keep us talking till next year!

Cats v Hawks Granny cant say who'll win

I feel that the saints are so bad that they might not win a game for the rest of the year. Worst run footy club ever.

Very harsh there on the saints, but they have definitely been a major disappointment... I doubt the eagles will get 5 wins now they will be tanking all the way home to round 22
