And Stuart where have you been. So much has been happening. I'm on parole but they have allowed me back on the Carlton forum. I had to get Eddie involved and he negotiated the terms of my parole. Good to see you back on buddy .... GO PIES

I've been bogged down with other stuff.. not much time to waste here teasing idiot supporters (from any club mind you)

I reckon if cuz joined you, you'd be serious premiership material...

I tend not to agree Stuart.

We all know that adding ONE great West Coast player to your list does not make you Premiership material.

Our Navy Blue rivals across town have learnt this very quickly.

Fortunately we are not going to fall into the same false sense of hope.

A premiership is won by a team. Not one player

Yeah well we wouldn't lower our standards to sell out to a bloke like Cousins, but I'm sure thats why he is hanging around Collingwood.

I think Stuart is right, (hate to say it) I think Collingwood is a much better side than Carlton, and having Cousins strengthen up your midfield would be a great asset to the team. As long as he's in form, I think he'd do a lot more for Collingwood than Judd is for Carlton.

I still would love Ben Cousins that 1 extra player could really open up the midfield...

GO PIES...

I agree 100% with you on that. There will be a few changes next year but I'm hoping we get Brown And if cuz can cleans his act up and we get him, Well I don't want to say anything as I'm very superstitious. But yeah we would have to be serious contenders.

I think the pies problem is consistency. You never seem to make the grand final but are usually on track for a finals series... with someone like cuz in your midfield I think it will give you guys the extra edge you need. Unfortunately with the bulldogs seemingly doing well as well as geelong.. the next few years could prove to be a battle.

As for us.. well who knows. We'll find form again eventually and start winning again.. but speculation is not realistic for me (I hate guessing games) so who knows. I'm hoping Port pick themselves up and keep winning because I'd like to see them do well again.. and the Roos who are proving to be real fighters.

I think it would be awesome to see Cousins playing footy again. He is a gun and can tear a game apart. Do you know how many years he has left in him?

Stuart from Perth (Eagles supporter), 22 May 2008 21:57hide comment
Not really sure. If he has a fresh start and behaves himself.. I'm sure he's got a few more seasons in him. And for that matter, he'll be a stellar player for any club. He could do wonders at collingwood though..

As for this weekend, you've got a tough match ahead pies.. keep your game up and end that winning streak.. Geelong don't deserve back to back.
