demitriou runing our game
the game is getting worse with soft footy crap new rules and a former player trying to get his old club to relocate to the gold coast...what a disgrace should be killed for ****ing up our game

I think he's doing a good job - what exactly in clear terms would you like him to have done/not done?

It's the Kangaroos and their supporters in my mind, who need to seriously consider how they've potentially screwed their club and made the plight of all other Melbourne teams difficult.

Demetriou is doing all he can to make the game national and not Vic-centric - and he's trying to do in in a way that accommodates all opinions - I think he's done as good a job as could be expected

I'm not really in a position to judge Demitriou but considering the growth of AFL and VFL in the past 5 years or so I'd say he's doing OK.

I'll agree with you that all the rule changes have been and do get annoying but have a look at the history of the game. In the beginning there were no rules therefore there has been continual modifications made to game since it's conception 150 years ago. And the game continues to evolve to this day.

North Melbourne has proven themselves strong enough to escape relocation for now, you should be proud of your club. Which I'm sure you are and with the resurgence of VFL and expansion of AFL in Australia it only seems right that all the states and Territories should be allowed to showcase an elite side to represent their respective state. I personally would love to see this happen especially for Tasmania unfortunately tho, West Sydney is on the cards before Tassie.

arrr... Stephen the expansion of the competition is crucial for the continual growth of the AFL and its clubs...i suppose its only coincidence that u r a North Melbourne supporter i.e. your direct reference to the Gold Coast venture...a bit of objectively please...p.s. Wayne Jackson was a very bad AFL CEO he almost killed Victorian football alone...look at the resurgence of Victorian football now under Demitriou??...something to ponder Stephen ...
