Hall of Fame teams
Quite a few changes to the Vic side, including 7 who weren't picked in the original 40, whereas the Dream team added Motlop, Bassett and Cross from outside the 40...

But most the changes are probably affected by injuries - Lappin, Black, Cornes etc

I reckon the Vic team now looks a lot stronger, and what's with all the Adelaide players selected in the Dream team... some of them I think are a bit questionable. Has this become SA vs Vic now, with a heavy weighting of SA selectors??

No Essendon players selected apparently, so I'll be barracking for the team that's winning. Really they should have the best players from every team.

im dissapointed we wont get the best players out there. the onyl crows player questionable would be Basset, the rest are worthy considering the outs we have.
Cant believe Didak didnt make the 30 lol, selectors r on drugs.

Yeah Bassett was one of the ones I was thinking of too...

It just seems a bit Geelong/Hawthorn vs Adelaide/Port Adelaide...

I don't think selectors take into consideration good players playing in teams that aren't going so well, such as Aaron Davey in Melbourne - I'd put him in ahead of a lot of the selected players...

And at the same time, some of those players within Geelong etc are probably elevated in status because they're playing with other good players and their team is winning.

Damn shame about Black, Cornes and Riewoldt all being injured for the Dream Team

i think Daveys issue was that the game against Freo was his only good one this year, they are rewarding form although u could put up a case that Sewell and Gilbee should be in the Vic side.
The SA teams will always dominate the sides cause Port and Crows r generally pretty strong and the players they have are pretty good.
WCE have a few WA boys but Freo r shockers.
Most of Brissies guns r Vics like Brown, Bradshaw, Lappin, Power, Adcock and so on.
if we were full strength we would beat the Vics, now i think they have a better all round side but our forward line is still great with Buddy, Richo, Mooney, Pavlich and so on

Yeah - I just think its sad that some teams, like Melbourne (I think) don't have any players represented in either team... This in their 150 year celebrations where they've had virtually nothing to celebrate, you'd think they could have selected at least 1 player?

I think they should have really tried to select 1 player from each team and this be a requirement. Every team has at least 3-4 players worthy of consideration for this game.
