Melbourne worst team ever? Will they win a game?
I doubt Melbourne will win a match this year, I think they are possibly the worst team I have ever seen in the AFL. I honestly would love to know what the TAB odds are for Melbourne to not win a match this year, if someone can find out the details for me I reckon i'd chuck $100 on it.

Daniel, i could bring up the stat that melb lost to us twice in 06 when they played in the finals, and we won the spoon.
These stats are irrelevant.

Going purely on season to date, carlton should win.
Also, you're only as good as your last performance.

Context, Daniel: everyone except Richmond has won better than four of their last seven against Carlton. In fact, two of Carlton's 3½ wins in 2006 were against Melbourne, who finished the season seventh with 13½ wins. I don't put much weight behind any of these stats anyway, but I think they favour Carlton.

Newspaper today said that the TAB is offering $11 for the Demons to do what nobody has done since the 1964 Roys. The TAB admits that these are probably artificially short odds. On current form, Melbourne couldn't beat anybody; but even the 1996 Roys won one game.

i reckon they will beat Carlton on Sunday. Melbourne have wn 4 of their last 7 against them and won both games last year by healthy margins. The Demons team hasnt changed much and i know they r playing ****house but i have a feeling they might do it. Carlton have had their big 2 rivals in succession and they may have a let down. Then again Fev could come out and bag 10 so.
