I have this theory that you can't really take the ladder too seriously until about round 7... by that time teams are starting to find their place on the ladder and any winning or losing streaks caused by playing really good, or over-hyped sides are evened out...

Let's just wait and see, but I think Geelong and Hawthorn are definite contenders.

This may sound awfully cocky coming from a Swans fan, but every time the swans have played Hawthorn over the past two to three seasons - they have kept Lance Franklin relatively quiet, and as such, have defeated them. Hence, whilst Hawthorn have an extremely exciting and possible premiership contending side, I'd hate to say it, but No Buddy, No Hawthorn.
Simply stated, Geelong's defensive set up would double and even triple team Franklin out of the game. Catters VERY hard to beat this year.

The Hawks were ok but Adelaide didnt come to play so when its Hawthorn vs Nobody too easy. If I saw that game I would predict the end score Geelong 22-13-145 to Hawthorn 13-8-86. Nobody will beat the Cats this year and thats coming from a Crows fan. So its going to be another boring year. No offense Cats supporters but I do like to see my team be able to go somewhere so I'd be happy if we could get our form back and be able to play against use in the GF. Why do I feel I am going to get a lot of replies!!!

Cats will mke sure they drop a couple of games, would be a bad thing going into finals undefeated.
