How did Michael Osborne get off?
Im not too sure how you can lift your elbow and smash it into another players head on purpose and then play the next week. Im pretty sure he had a clean record b4 the incident but jesus that was a crude and below the belt hit on a bloke that was not playing the ball.
Tribunal being incosistent as always?

Have a look at the Crows v Port game & then there is even more question marks that the tribunal is inconsistant!!!!!??????? you can now flatten a player without the ball being in the facility of play. that play will miss 3 weeks yet the offender plays next week. Thomas tackle seemed a fair tackle but having watched in slow motion he slams bassett to the ground with all his might. several behind the play & off the ball charges have also gone unsited, yes u motlop. The Crows boys want forget & look out next showdown

everything looks worse in slow motion.....
think about it. that tackel was laid in wat.. half a second.
the player had the ball wen the tackle begun, lost it on the way down and thomas wasnt even looking at the player once the tackle was laid... he was more worried about falling on bassetts back then were the ball was.so u r saying that a player who laid a legitamte tackle and tried to make sure he didnt land on the others back to give a way a free kick (all this in less then half a second btw) should miss weeks because the tackle was so good bassetts arms were pinned behind him so he could not legitimatly dispose of the ball?
also u may not watch the news... but here in vic the highlights off the ugliness at the showdown have been shown on tv... including motlops indiscreation.

i didnt have a issue with Brogans hit or the Thomas tackle, all text book and how you are taught at training. Brogan was 5m within the ball and hit the player and didnt get him over the shoulder so its play on. Yes he should have gone the ball but its not againts the rules. Thomas pinned them arms and it was the momentum that carried them forward and Bassett was unlucky, exactly like Pickett and Cornes last year.

The Osborne was very different to these, he raised his elbow and got Swallow on the forehead
