Wet Weekend
Its picked to be a wet weekend, hows your team gonna stand up??? I think the Crows have a good chance in the wet against the Hawks, yet others could struggle in the wet like Essendon, Carlton and the Saints

It's hard to say - wet weather football is a very different style of football, and teams that aren't able to change their game style in wet conditions will tend to suffer.

Even with the roof on the Dome I believe they won't close the roof 'til a couple of hours before the game begins, thus it may still be a wet contest.

As for Essendon, under Sheedy we really didn't have a game plan for wet matches. Perhaps Knights has bought one with him. Generally the most successful strategy in the wet is to grab the ball when you can and run it forward, only kicking / passing when you have to and have a good target.. But if the players can't pick up the ball just punch it or soccer it forward at any opportunity.

I have no idea who's going to win in any of the matches! But I can't wait to watch them!

It's not looking good for brizzy... surely Port won't lose again at home

It's hard to say how the team will do in the wet, with all of the indoor and drought-stricken footy thesedays. David Teague was the best wet-weather player I've seen in recent times.

I think the crows will struggle against the Hawks this week, too many injuries coming out of the showdown and they got hammered by the Port boys, Hawks would have loved seeing that. We should account for Carlton but i always dont get too confident with these games cause form means nothing when collingwood, carlton and essendon play eachother.

We play Bombers on Friday nite at the Dome so the lid will be on if it's raining. We've lost Westy for 2 weeks, I'm actually a bit concerned about Injuries and the Dogs. We've lost a player each week (Eagleton week 1, Higgins wk2, and now Westy against Saints last week. I hate the thought of who will be next... Although we had 10 goal scorers last week and Johnno was kept goalless. Thats a testament to our new forward line set up. Wil Minson up forward I'm a bit concerned about, he's bulked up heaps and is great in the center but he's not the most accurate kick at goal. It's great to see him back though. I think (and hope) it's gunna be close. The Bombers are a bit hot and cold at the moment, flogged one week then stick it to em the next??? It is still early in the season though.

The Crows deserve a good win over the Hawks there have been some crackers between those 2 recently. Some of the closest games I've seen in recent times have been Crows games. That final last year against Crows and Hawks that must've been heart wrenching being a Crows supporter..

Are Carlton actually gunna win a game? Away from all the hype especially on this bloody forum, I feel like they are due for a win, and theres no other team they would want to beat more than The Pies.. I really want the Saints to win especially against the Cats. I feel like the Cats need a good floggin although I doubt that's gunna happen either.
