I feel rather contemplative of one of my other topics
But is Matthew Pavlich the most overated player or what. He kicks a few goals here and there like Fevola, they are 2 very similar players yet there seems to be so much emphasis put on Pav', why, he really isnt much better than Fevola, him and Brown, both strong marks and kick few goals. They have maybe one 2 or 3 big games a year, I think we gotta lay off the pressure on these guys so much and let them play footy. I would like to see them play footy with no stress. Pav has the stress of being the main go to guy up forward, why not make him a roving forward for a week or two rather than straight our full forward like many of forwards these days way too much pressure and they dont perform. I am starting to notice he is a little overated though!!!

Have a look at Pav's stats... he actually does something with the ball 90% of the time he gets it! Yes he has strong marks...but they are spectacular! Being a good ol Dockers' supporter I DO watch all their games...some live however, I do see the full game he normally puts in. For one of the oldest players in AFL he has my vote anyday!

I'm not sure I agree, but then I don't watch many Fremantle games. I think Pav is a highly under-discussed player due to his playing in Perth.

thats a great point you make, players in SA or in WA probably dont get the recognition that a lot of the guys in Victoria get.
Players like Tyson Edwards and Roger Hayden fly under the radar.
Pavlich is pretty consistent but i would have thought he would be big in Melbourne even though he plays down at Freo, maybe its cause he aint a Victorian? Who knows

he is big in melbourne. its just that teams dont get talked about here wen there palying ****, no matter how good a palyer is. unless its collingwood or carlton.... coz there fans just wont shut up about them

come on Pav under-rated i dont think so. He and Brown are to two best power fowards in the league there is no reason why they should be made to rove for a game when they can take so many marks and kick so many goals.

pavlich isnt over rated.... he is incredably consistant. i cant think of many games were he has playyed poorly. any team would love pavlich in it. he would make the starting 18 instantly, no questions asked. if a team has a packed forward line he can play in the middle or the wing because he has a lot of energy and he has awesome skills.

Still, Brown got the most goals last year... can't really say he kicks few goals

But up until last year, I would have agreed with you.
