Is Sean Rusling the most unluckiest footballer going around?
The fella cant take a trick, hopefully its not a reco.
Also Nathan Brown looks the goods and held Pavlich to 1 goal. Camo Wood also took the p1ss in the ruck. Good early signs but then again we played Freo.

Some players just spend their lives being injured and it is a shame for Rusling. Add Tom Williams - 12 games in 4 years for the dogs, reinventing the use of the word indefinite on the injury list ( I think he may have been in the same draft as Rusling), Darcy's two years of knee injuries, Beau McDonald was on Brisbane's list for 2 years and played 1 game I think. Note Austin: injuries aren't funny whether they happen or are caused by Collingwood players. Find a better way to hang it on the Pies

I think all serious comments about Collingwood, their players, and their aspirations for success should be confined to the Collingwood discussion board. Just so you don't get sick of us laughing in your faces.

There's always one idiot ready to jump in and have a pointless crack regardless of the topic at hand. Did it make you feel good Austin?

Just trying to give intelligent people the opportunity to have their say on the player and the injury.
Nothing funny about someone facing surgery for the thrid time.

By virtue of the wide and expansive range of peculiar "God must really be having fun with me" injuries, Koschitzke would be high up there - but then again, so is James Hird, and he seemed to do okay out of his career.

Dean Rice had two knee recos at St Kilda, was traded to Carlton in 1994, then needed another reco after his first game with the Blues. Unfortunate.

Koschitzke** i show you spell his last name not Kositzke =P

No Justin Kositzke would be the unluckiest guy in football he has been at the club 7 years and only played 99 games. In the 06 season he couldn't do anything right i'm just gald he's on track now.

Nathan G. Brown has unluckiest player sewn up. Review his last five years:
2003 - wooden spoon with Bulldogs
2004 - wooden spoon with Tigers
2005 - leg shattered and replayed dozens of times on television
2006 - recovery from shattered leg
2007 - wooden spoon with Tigers

Beau Muston would be high on the unfortunate list.

Brownie has still got the time to wash away alot of that misery and pain, I hope in the next 5 years the last 5 will be forgotten.

Condolences to all the Pies, sad to see such a gun player like Rusling have to face another year sidelined.

He is a lightning quick forward and was being structured a sa key forward for your team.

3 years 3 times now sidelined for the shoulder, I do feel for him.

Hao from Melbourne (Hawks supporter), 26 Mar 2008 12:56 hide comment
Yep gotta feel sorry for Rusling, but as a hawks supporter I have to say Beau Muston is the unluckiest. Done his knee multiple times, the latest in the NAB cup on his 21st birthday. At least Rusling's played some senior AFL footy, Muston's yet to debut. Such a shame to see so many good young players missing through constant injuries.

yeah i forgot about him, supposedly he was a gun footballer in the under 18's comp but had a knee injury in that comp. Reminds me of Walker for Collingwood, think he did his knee 4 or 5 times lol.
He is out of contract i think, will the Hawks keep him?

probably not as unlucky as fergus watts was but the poor kid cant get started, he has kinda taken off from where bucks left with the nagging injuries.
Andy from Melbourne (Bombers supporter), 26 Mar 2008 11:37 hide comment

You can't foget Kozi from St.Kilda. He was always finding ways to knock himself unconscious for a few years there.
