Mid Year Team of the Year
Just had a thought and put down my current team of the year to date. Obviously this will change by the end of the season and some players that missed could have been in there. FF: J Akermanis, B Fevola, L Franklin
CHF: R Murphy, J Brown, R O'Keefe
C: A Didak, S Black, M Richardson
CHB: N Bock, C Bolton, J MacDonald
FB: D Morris, M Scarlett, G Johncock
1R: D Cox, A Cooney, G Ablett
INT: S Thompson, J Porplyzia, B Kirk, J Roughead, D Bradshaw. anyone got any ideas of their own team or who could come in and replace one of those players.

Buddy is CHF, not a crappy FP. The forward line should read: HF: R.O'Keefe L.Franklin M.Richardson
FF: J.Akermanis B.Fevola R.Murphy

nothing wrong with fwd pocket players. Franklin gets named alot at CHF but he generally comes out of the square so thats not a true CHF really. R Muprhy isnt a fwd pocket yet u named him there?

More of a forward pocket than Franklin is, but these days, pure midfielders usually take both HFF positions, meaning guys like Aker, Murphy and Boomer Harvey get pushed a bit up ground into the pocket. When you're talking Key Position players, they are the ones who should be playing in their actual position as it's where they play the majority/all of their game. Pockets and flankers move around alot. The fact is, the All-Australian team pretty much lost all credibility last year, so let em pick whoever they want, wherever they want.

yeah i see what ur saying but the onyl reason i put him in the pocket is due to the fact the All Aussie team always has key possie players in pockets or flanks so i thought Fev was more a FF then him so hence he went the pkt. Brown will get CHF and i couldnt see Franklin on the bench

Every ones gonna change their view baced on who the support either because they want their team to be better or because they watch their team more. eg fowards: Most people would say that Fev and Buddy have been the two best talls but who is the third. A Hawka will say roughhead and a lions man will say Browny and a dockers supporter will say Pav. Also question like is Richo a foward or a midfielder this year.
