I think it's disgusting how that scum collingwood supporter tried to spit on Fev not once but twice on the weekend, i know that supporters are very passionate about their team but that is just low and I hope that he is banned from every AFL match he tries to get in to, filthy dirty scumbag.

actually just found out the person who spat at Fevloa wasnt even a Collingwood supporter, he was actually a Essendon supporter lol.
Not sure why he was at the game but its pretty disgraceful.

an essendon supporter wearing a collingwood beanie and sitting in the collingwood cheer squad? what a joke.

Daniel from Adelaide (Magpies supporter), 18 Jun 2008 11:49 hide comment
actually he wasnt wearing a Collingwood beanie and he wasnt with the cheer squad. he walked down the steps to have a crack at Fev and was asked to leave by the cheer squad from all reports.
even if he was a Collingwood fan there is no excuse for it but since everyone is having a crack saying its typical of Collingwood fans to spit then there is a purpose to set it straight and explain that he isnt a Collingwood fan.
Brendan from Melbourne (Magpies supporter), 17 Jun 2008 15:08 hide comment
Yet you don't think it's a disgrace when Fev pisses on some poor shop keepers window. Hmmm. Double standards. Unusual for a Blues supporter. NOT!

That's ok, i'd rather be known as a double standards supporter, which i'm not however, than a dirty filthy scumbag collingwood supporter. I'm not making excuses for Fev, 'cause what he did was gross, but spitting twice on another human being because your team is losing is downright scummy. End of story

I agree Ali, but the filth that comes out of your loyal Blues supporter mouths is also a disgrace. I have seen heard and read about plenty of "dirty, filthy, scumbag supporters" from yours and every other club. Neither Carlton nor Collingwood have a monopoly on good/fair/exemplary sporting behaviour but I am sure there are true believers who display the club spirit without feral behaviour on both sides. I have followed footy for 50+ years and what I see and hear and read on these "chat sites" is as bad as it gets. I am constantly appalled at what I see and hear both at matches and on line... FROM BOTH SIDES. Get over it guys and enjoy the footy. Would you want your own kids to be exchanging this rubbish?

I agree that some portray their passion with a potty mouth and that every team have scum supporters that give the rest of us a bad name but when a supporter displays that kind of behaviour towards one of boys then passion takes over. We love nothing more than enjoying the footy but it's the certain few who come back at you with unnecessary comments which then sparks a war. It happens in every part of this forum no matter what the topic. It's nice to show your loyalty but it always reverts to people getting personal. Suck it up and discuss with wit and intelligence.

so how do you feel about Kane Johnson? you haven't mentioned him in any of your brain dead tirades.

it was a disgrace... hope they track him down.

yep shows the calibre of a coll supporter ( and for all those coll supporters that are offended by this get ova it! it was only a joke) but in all seriousness there is no need for that in the game and it does not portray a very good image to the rest of the world when fans act like that. Find them and ban them just as that richmond supporter was a few years back.

i am pretty sure we had a fan throw a bottle at an umpire earlier in the year... but umpires deserve it... lol!

couldnt agree more, absolute low life. U dont have to like someone but spitting at someones feet is disgraceful.

Talk about crawling into holes, you Carlscum supporters have been in your holes for the last 6 years, apart for a couple of very brief appearances after some NAB Cup wins, and only officially came out of those holes after Judd was scavanged from the Weagles. Now, in true Carlscum fashion, you're strutting around, pounding your chests as though you've got the cup in the bag. I love it because it makes it so much better to watch when you all come crashing back down to earth when reality hits you, like it will if you happen to (by some sort of miracle) make the finals this year and meet the Pies. Finals are a different ball-game and apart from Judd and Stevens, the Bluesers don't know what a final even is, but the Pies know them all too well because we've actually played in a few in the last 6 years that weren't played in March. As for the spitter, I certainly don't condone that but I'm sure its not only Collingwood supporters that do this kind of thing from time to time, all teams have feral supporters, but Collingwood have more supporters in general, so obviously more feral ones. Its just one of the cons of being one of the most popular teams.

I went to Bunnings today to get some "No More Gaps" but they had run out. Apparently all the Blues supporters suddenly coming out of the woodwork have used it all.

I heard it was shipped to a dentist in collingwood.
Brendan from Melbourne (Magpies supporter), 17 Jun 2008 15:04 hide comment
The Pies supporters only left the ground early so as you Blues bastards couldn't steal their cars!

Go PIES!

thats funny, coz after the game there were fights going on between collingwood supporters in the carpark! was hillarious to watch!

btw, are you the prick in the magpies cheer squad that spat at Fev?

Steve from Melbourne (Blues supporter), 17 Jun 2008 12:00 hide comment
you should have seen all those "loyal" Collingwood supporters ten minutes into the last quarter! they left the ground, tails between their legs. Wait till the pies drop down the ladder and see the crowds they pull... what a bunch of mor'ons, so quick to desert their team.

you're a muppet. collingwood still pulls big crowds no matter how they play. it's the same with carlton. I believe u guys still get good crowds even though you've sucked for the last five years. Just because you have it over us doesn't mean you should go making silly comments like that. enjoy your win but keep your head in the game.

Um i bet you have. we were only put out of it like halfway through the fourth. we didn't get smashed by 100 points. you're getting carried away.
Daniel from Adelaide (Magpies supporter), 17 Jun 2008 13:54 hide comment
Carlton fans did the exact same thing 2 seasons ago when Collingwood flogged them, leaving in the 3rd quarter.
Every club has fans that do it.
Jackson from Bendigo (Magpies supporter), 17 Jun 2008 13:13 hide comment
i hope you make the finals
Daniel from Adelaide (Magpies supporter), 17 Jun 2008 11:54 hide comment
Dylan when were all the pies supporters proclaiming they were going to win the flag?
So your def going to play in the finals? The season is only half way through, still a long way to go so i wouldnt be thinking that way just yet.
Credit to Carlton, they are playing some good football at the moment but lets put things in perspective. Both Carlton and Collingwood have beaten mainly no one this season. We beat Geelong and you beat us. Only beating 1 team in the 8 doesnt make u A) a certain finals team or B) a contender.
Both clubs are nowhere near the Cats, Hawks, Dogs or Swans.

He's probably referring to the "we were one kick out of the Grand Final" stuff which has slowly been heard less and less recently. And I agree with everything else you say.

yeah thats what i was saying i am not saying we will win the flag but i would be confident against the pies come sept and going on recent form we could probally get 11 maybe 12 wins which may get us in to 7 or 8th the big test will be against the swans in a few weeks also though we need to win the next 2. With some players still to come back such as the likes of Walker we should be in with a good chance of at least seeing the start of sept.
