If Brisbane wern't willing to resign Jonathan Brown at the end of the season who would he go to?
The clubs that come to mind include: Bull Dogs, Richmond, Collingwood and Carlton.
I personally think that Collingwood don't need him as they already have Cloke at Centre Half Forward. Carlton having him, Judd and Fevola with the many 1st picks from the previous 3 drafts looks ominous and something that certainly can't be discounted. I think he would be best suited to either Richmond or Budd Dogs. Both teams are in need of key forwards and would love to have him on their teams I recon. Richmond only have Richo as a capable key forward and need another if they are any chance of a flag any time soon. Also the Bull Dogs Brad Johnson is comming to an end and isn't big enough to play full forward and NO key forwards of note so, both teams would be willing to give up nearly anything for Brown.
Thoughts?

yeh but thats if Brissie DONT sign him, n the odds of that r???

yeh i agree with tarrant - we cant afford!!! n i reckon fev wouldnt play aswell n neither would browny, as gr8 as he is... they would both sorta cancel each other out, if u know wat i mean!!!

i reckon richmond should get him, they really need a strong, always-performing forward!! im not takin anythin away from richo - i think he is a gr8 player - but if richmond really wanna be top 8 material, they ned sum1 of bronw's caliber!

My thinking was that he in combo with Fev would make the ultimate forward tag team and be an incredible threat. Kinda like Franklin and Roughead or Brown and Bradshaw are now. Was my thinking, but your club
My pick though would be Richmond or Bull Dogs.
Richmond need another key forward to aid Richo down forward.
And the dogs don't have any marking forwards and could REALLY use him. Certainly a chance at a flag soon.

but then either Fev or Brown would have to take a smaller role - as POCKET!!!!!!

but i dont think that we need him honestly..... given enuf time, the young boys we got now will be the best of da league... not from a carlton view either - there arent really any teams with a lot of young guns.....
cept maybe da crows....

Agree Josh the Blues have a good young side and dont think they need Brown and Fev. I reckon Blues will be a powerhouse in next few years.

Unless Blues are up to their old tricks couldnt see room for him there. Melb might have some coin to throw around and even Richmond. He would look good in a Tri colour guernsey dont you think ha ha

I don't think Richmond has enough promising youngsters in its list to lose a year of high draft picks on Brown - if Richmond are to be successful with this list, the draftees of this season will be the young-end elite of their team.

my thoguht is its a stupid questions... brisbane not willing to resign brown. thats like saying "if hawthorn wernt willing to resign franklin, do u think he would go to stkilda?".
not gonna happen.

and if by any small chance id say richmond.

Tarrant from Melbourne (Blues supporter), 13 Jun 2008 21:17 hide comment
He'd fit in nicely at Princes Park, but we wouldn't be able to afford him.

Dogs is an interesting proposition. I don't know where the club rates its list, but if it thinks it's close to a flag, a high-priced trade in draft picks could be a good investment.
