Carlton will win...They are fielding a better team than they did when they beat them a few weeks ago...coming off a strong win against Port and Collingwoods average win over lowly Melbourne can only worry Malthouses Mag"gots ...

Go Fev
Go Blues

No offence but i hardly call your blokes win a 'strong' win. you scraped over the line. that's not saying that the pies didn't do the same, but we always struggle against Melbourne on Queen's birthday. and also, im just curious as to how your team is stronger than before?

hmmm your defence is weaker then last time we played. No Jamison or Bower who both got the jobs on Cloke and Medhurst. Jamison may get up for this week but doubtful.
Im not sure how our win was average? we havent beaten Melbourne in 5 years on the Queens Bday, had 2 late outs in Pendles and Rocca and this was Melbournes biggest game for the year, celebrating 150 years.
Wet conditions and got a 4 goal win.
Carlton havent been in good form of late. They got the win against Port but Port r ****, the week b4 that u got belted by Geelong who we beat, You struggled to beat Freo at home and the week b4 that u got belted by Brisbane. We have got 4 in a row and one of the form sides in the comp.

Will be a excellent game, they always are.

It will be a great game. The Blues are warming up. The Pies are firing.

It will be fun in our family. The boys are all Collingwood, the Girls are all Carlton.

After my pathetic prediction last week, I'm not gonna say we'll smash Carlton, But we should SMASH Carlton!

Go PIES

you didn't smash Carlton mo'ron, and as usual your predictions fail! How good was Fev? you won't be sitting down for a while after he ripped you a new ar'sehole!

GO BLUES! SHOWING THIS SORT OF MAG'GOTS SUPPORTER HOW MUCH OF A FOOL HE IS!

Tarrant from Melbourne (Blues supporter), 11 Jun 2008 13:20 hide comment
Should be a good game. Will follow typical pattern for Carlton games: the Blues will be strong at stoppages, while Collingwood will be dangerous on rebounds. Collingwood has the benefits of Bower and Jamison being absent, because they slaughtered Cloke and Medhurst last time we met. Collingwood deserve favouritism, but $4 is a reasonably good value bet for Carlton.

Have you considered the form of both Medhurst and Cloke since (wince) we last meet? Chalk and cheese Tarrant (love your name). Round two a different concept altogether.

Well, I'll be writing on my blackboard with Cloke's cheese.

Malthouse did a good job with Medhurst, though. First half, with Jamison on him, Medhurst ran up the ground, set things up, and his only goal came from a turnovers. Second half, with Gibbs and others on him, Medhurst stayed deep, got very few disposals but scored goals with them.

My name was annoying today. Every time Fev or Medhurst sprayed a shot at goal (i.e. nine times), suddenly fans are calling out for me.

I think we should do it as long as our forwards fire. Leon Davis should be on the field more this game.
Spewing the game is delayed for 2 hours into SA cause of the stupid Geelong and Port game. Both 7 and Foxtel r showing both games live lol. Reckon this is the 1st time ever this game has been shown delayed for both games in a season.

No offense to anyone here because I know how much you guys love all the rivalry stuff, but I'm sick of hearing about it already, I'm sure it's appealing to all you Pies and Blues fans, and it will attract a big crowd and all that but really its just another game to me. I'm more interested in the SydvSTK, AdelvHawks and the GellvPort games this week.

I'd rather watch five hours of soccer than another Sydney vs St Kilda game. It would probably be higher-scoring.

i just spent 6 hours watching the Euro this morning. Setanta Sports baby!!
Gonna get up Sat morn at 4am for Holland and France, will be wicked.
Nothing wrong with the round ball code, they are both great.

5 Hours of soccer. Man, you are the bravest Blues supporter on earth. Kudos to you.
Kristy from Melbourne (Bulldogs supporter), 12 Jun 2008 6:08 hide comment
Yeah, I was looking at the last 5 times they have played each other, twice both scores were under 60, and neither team has cracked the 100. Although I do have a soft spot for Syd, and sorry Matt but the Saints just SH*t me to tears, they just continue to disappoint.
Ali (Blues supporter), 11 Jun 2008 22:09 hide comment
And that is fair enough but that's just a thing with the blues and the cold pies, we love to stir each other up. I have Austar so I don't miss any of the games and look forward to all of them each weekend but it doesn't stop the rivalry between us and collingwood
Christopher from Melbourne (Magpies supporter), 11 Jun 2008 13:58 hide comment
lost once won't happen again this year to the blues.
