Yeah what Daniel said - how many wooden spoons have you won by the way, i'm guessing more than collingwood. I would rather have less spoons than more flags.

well then theres somethin rong with u then isnt there.
saints have liek 26 spoons...if we had half of those as flags i still wouldnt care we have 13.

ur just one of those typical collingwood supporters that resort to bs meaningless dribble wen uve been beaten

The pies have always been the 'Team to bag'. I dont think it comes from the club, players or management itself but from the feral supporters everyone has to put up with at matches. Interstate supporters are worse but in Victoria the Pies supporters do take the cake... Thats why!

It actually eventuated from the fact that the Collingwood FC opened its gates to the unemployed and less well off for games back in the day and its grown from then. I dont think the Collingwood fans are any more feral then most sides, its just the rep that goes with the club. I know way more corporate collingwood fans then feral fans, i guess its just what you want to believe.
Richmond fans have a terrible reputation as well but its only a small group of people that create this, like any other club.
I know all about the Interstate fans mate, im a South Aussie who has to put up with Crows and Power banter 24/7 and going to **** Park isnt the greatest thrill.

You poor bugger and hats off to you! I went to FP and watched Richmond come back from 35 points down and it was the best thrill although nearly got my head smashed in by just singing the tigs song. Your right - all sides have bad apples - it just seems the pies have more per acreage thats all.

i got spat on by a power fan during the 2002 qualifying final when we beat them, was ridiculous. had meat pies and water bottles ditched at me for standing up and clapping, absolute no class.
i travelled over for the dream team game and copped a bit from the Vics but we gave it back and had a few beers and a chat, what its all about.
doesnt happen to often over here.

yeah we are jelous of all ur 14 flags oh wait we got 16 maybe then its all the cups u have won lately oh wait only 1 flag in the last 50yrs maybe then we talk about u cause ur are a terrible fc that the mighty blue baggers toyed with a couple of rounds back. thats what we are talking about!

All good mate, i would rather just win the 1 since 1990 then rort the salary cap to buy yourself one in 1995.
So when was the last once before 1995 that is tainted? 1987? over 20 years since u won a legit flag, awesome.

Just incase you've forgotten what your post was about I'll remind you: you were wondering why people were talking about Collingwood. I didn't come on here and post something completely unrelated to your topic, I answered your question. People talk about Collingwood so often because they are the whipping boy of the AFL, people love to bag them out. Hopefully that cleared up anything you were clearly struggling to understand.
