Collingwood's weekend excuses
Why aren't we talking about the Collingwood weekend? 11 goals, what no excuses? No "they paid the umpires off", no "wait till we are at full strength", no"wait till we play a real team"? Nobody has anything to say about the game?

the pies are crap. one of the most over rated teams in the AFL. they got shaw n pendlebury and thats it. no forward line, no backline.

I don't see how you can call Collingwood overrated, you have Nick Riewoldt, the single most overrated player to play the game, oh and you've got that walking fossil Gherig, and.... who else? oh you got the Gangster Gardiner, and the reject ruckman King, not seeing anything great there..

Its not his kicking... because ppl dont rate his kicking. cant be over rated for a reason no-one rates u for. and if u acctually read my replys to other ppl u would notice i said stkilda were over rated to u stupid dumb carlton idiot. and as for the reject ruckman. uve got two at ur club in ackland(who has been rejected by 2 clubs, and cloke who got delisted from COLLINGWOOD). u got sultana ohelphim when, like gehrig, he doesnt mark the footy hes pretty much out of the contest because he cant bend over. next time think before riting something as stupid as u have done... or atleast read the other things i have posted after gettin replys. mite save u some time.

If the Pies are overated then what are the Saints? Kosi sux, Dal Santo sux, Gehrig is gone, Milne sux, Riewoldt cant kick. Everyone goes about the Saints being the next big thing but they are crap. Sorry but if ur going to have a crack at another football clubs ability, make sure that your own is not worse.

mate i no my teams over rated. check other forums ive been saying the same thing. dal santo doesnt run hard enuf or try hard enuf, kozi is hot n cold. gehrig should have came back, milnes way to inconsistant, we dont have a backline if max hudgeton doesnt play, our club cant manage injuries nor has a game plan. the onli player that really gives 100% for an entire game is harvey, which is sad really. but this isnt about stkilda, this forums about collingwood. i said they were one of the most over rated teams, the other 2 are stkilda and freo. collingwood have a team with to many inconsistant players like stkilda. thomas plays 2 good games a year n occasionaly produces somethin for the highlight wheel, davis is as hot n cold as milne, cloke cant kick like reiwoldt, rocca is pretty much a gehrig mold(once the ball hits the ground hes usless), u dont have a backline, a lot like stkilda. and rely heavily on the midfield to win you games because ur forwards cant produce consistantly enough and ur backline cant defend well enough.

Thats fair enough, the comments you have made about the players is pretty much correct. I do think Davis has improved out of sight in the last 2 seasons and even stood out in the best players in the comp on Sat night. I think the problem is the media pump up the Pies and Saints when realistically they are not as strong as Geelong or Hawthorn. Collingwood last season were fantastic in September but when you look at it properly we beat the Swans who we always beat and then we got WCE in extra time but the WCE should have kicked a couple goals in the last few mins but choked. Geelong we played out of our skin and credit to them. Dale Thomas is highly overated but im not saying he cant play and doesnt have the ability to become a gun. He tries to make things look special when he can do it normally. He is nowhere near Pendlebury at this stage. Cloke was sensational last year but this year he is struggling a little but he is only 20, he has a massive future. Medhurst has been the other standout this year, he played poorly the other week but has been senstational in the other games and particulary in Septemeber last season.

davis has improved heaps but hes still a bit like milne. he wants to do the impossible a bit to much. stkilda has got a list to challenge, they just dont play as a team that looks like they want it bad enough, were as geelong and the hawks both are desperate for success. the saints just look like they couldnt give 2 ****s half the time in games and how the coach persists with raph clarke amazes me. collingwood and stkilda both should make the top 8 because they have both got good lists on the day. but they dont perform consistantly enough which is fukin frustrating to watch. we should have killed the bombers by 60+, we shoulda been a lot more competitive with the dogs, and i think we still could ahve beatin geelong, even palying as poorly as we did agains them. it was are goal kicking that really let us down. i made the first comment to stir up that lance bloke. its so easy to do i just new he would take the bait haha.

On paper St Kilda have a strong side no doubt but it seems u always have key position players missing like Hudgton or Maguire or Kosi and it does hurt u massively. Maybe the Saints r 1 gun defender and 1 gun forward away from being a real contender. Riewoldt would be suited to float around the 50m and Gehrig is done and Kosi has the ability but somethings not right with him. Collingwood are still another couple seasons away from contending.

Greg mate, keep your pearls of wisdom to yourself. We know you don't like Collingwood. Here's a better way to get your message across. Stand on the highway with a huge sign saying 'I hate Collingwood.' Or if you're that bored with your life that you have nothing better to do than to post Collingwood hate forums, go down to the Lexus centre and give them a piece of your mind face to face. Providing you have the spine to do so, otherwise (and i think i speak for a lot of people) keep your trap shut

Your comments are becoming quite childish Daniel, ie"you and your girlfriend". Get serious pal. You are right, abuse when you win, get abused when you lose. But it would seem to anyone with half a brain that your version of it is abuse when you win, and side with opposition supporters and attack your own when you lose. Joel you simple man . . . If you had read any of the posts from about a month ago you would see Robert having a crack at me for not backing Jessica up when she was trying to tell us all that Carlton only beat Collingwood becuase they payed the umpires under the table. NOW F&^%$ING EXCUSE ME!!!!! BUT, I refuse to be the stereotypical Collingwood supporter and just agree with what everyother dumb, toothless supporter has to say even when it is as dumb and ridiculous as what Jessica was trying to say. Hey guys come on we go for the same team lets put it all aside and defend our own, dont give these carlton people anything to hound us about... We are the greatest club in Australia and we are known as the most loyal bunch around the Magpie Army... Seriously end it now we have other little shi*s too fry in this place like Steve, Greg and sometimes Marc... Sometimes where not gonna agree with what eachother writes, that is because we are all individuals... I go to the footy every week with my 2 cousins and our 2 good friends, we argue amongst ourselves whether it be the coaching, the players what ever it may be. But the most important thing is no matter what happens if an opposition supporter attacks us verbally (like supporters like to do) we back eachother whether we are rite or wrong... Black and White is in our veins... Seriously just agree to disagree and defend our own... Remember we are the most loved and hated club out there, we are the MIGHTY PIES... GO PIES...

I'm tired of EXPLAINING to you EXACTLY what I said and you obviously do give a crap about the other people on here otherwise you wouldn't be so upset and still crying bout it, GET OVER IT... Obviously not educated enough to hold your temper Daniel, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to get you angry. Good for you for stating the facts about the Collingwood v Carlton game. I dont see a need to type in capital letters. ( I cant hear you yelling anyway ). Remember, Collingwood was built on the ferals, as you call them, not by the toffs in suits you see at the footy these days. So dont go bashing our history too. When the Magpies were formed, they gave hope to the people of a suburb that were, yes, on the dole or un-employable toothless ferals. There never is much to say when your team loses Daniel.. However I was one of the first to say well done to Carlton when we lost and that they were better on the day . Can't get much fairer than that Daniel. But lately you are concerned about your tirade on Jessica . Which has got you no where as not one C/wood supporter has backed your pathetic attempt at this. Don't b harsh on Daniel - It actually OKAY to have a different viewpoint or idea to a fellow supporter. He actually makes a lot of sense and doesn't instantly resort to trash comments and slurs like some do! Not saying he hasn't, but he resorts o it because some people are persistent pests whose thnking borders on the ridiculous! Time for bed!

Robert, You silly, silly man. I don't know If you realise when you tell me that I've 'done my dash' and 'no-one likes me' but this is AN INTERNET FORUM!! THIS IS NOT A SCHOOLYARD WHERE EVERYONE WANTS TO BE THE POPULAR ONE! I am going to let you in on a little secret from us people in the social, normal, real world. I do not give a flying f&^%k about my social status, or my 'ranking' among other forumites on a Facebook application. I'd much rather impress my 'real' friends and do work on my 'real' social status talking sense and things that are 'real'. . . . I was thrilled with Collingwood thumping the Bombers and am happy to say so. It was great to see one of our rivals getting thrashed and dare I say it..??, I have a greater dislike for Essendon than I do Collingwood. Maybe 1993 is still too recent for me?? I'm not sure. In any case, Collingwood played exceptionally well that day - and no Rocca!!

Yeah Marc ... I can't cop Essendon at all actually. But I must say i like Medhursts attemp at copying Madden when he was lining up for goal. You could see what Medhurst was diong a mile away... And if my Memory serves me well did Madden do that against Carlton. :-) Go PIES

We were playing the Eagles. Had to see how many of those folks had delusions of victory, and its a game I went to. We already beat you, as many of my fellow Blues told you, Mr Roberto, what would I have to say to you that hadn't already been said on the scoreboard? So yes I was on the Eagles forum, as I will be on the Brisbane forum, when I know a bit more about the game in a fortnights time. Is that ok with you?

I got something to say about the game! Hawthorn smashed Collingwood like Carlton did only weeks before! GO BLUES!!!
