Now that Collingwood are losing
Well Jessica, now that Collingwood are losing. 11 goals last game wasn't it, you want to take the moral high ground of how supporters should act. You say I abuse the crap out of supporters. Ah only those that are wrong, then proven wrong by the scoreboard. Unfortunately, there is no comeback when you get flogged and I have, before the game (not after), predicted the result. So you're angry. Carlton kicked Collingwoods ass and it looks like everyone is lining up to do the same. Collywobbles. Chokers. It hurts cause its TRUE. And then its proven on the scoreboards. What do we get. "We(collingwood) are the most successful club. Ever" and "we would have won the flag last year if we weren't beaten by 5 points". Its crap like that and then getting flogged. That gives you nowhere to go. I have predicted our wins and your demise correctly 3 out of the last 4 weeks. That is what makes you angry. And then we get Collingwood supporters begging other teams to beat Carlton. I got 8/8 in my tipping last week how about you??? I love football, and I hate Collingwood.
It's genetic!!!

wooohooo this is a post i like cleary collingwood has nothing to contribute to this game except for giving us a team to hate. they have not even had an impact in the past 50yrs besides 1990 they are a wart on the game that will not taste success for many moons to come. and if u r a collingwood supporter get ready for another belting at the hands of the blues come round 12

Wow Greg, fantastic post. Funny some Carlton fans win a couple games and then start ragging on other peoples clubs. Bring up history? who has more wooden spoons? yeah Carlton has more then Collingwood. So you have a bigger head to head margin over 100 odd years, big fking deal. its safe to say we r closer to premiership success then you are so we are only a couple behind so we can make that up quickly, dont worry about that. Who said Collingwood are the most successful club ever? We may have the most members and biggest supporter base but we are not the most successful. Time for you to take a trip to Lygon Street and have your skinny chai latt'e.

hey champ, you make some good points. I beg to differ that you are closer to premiership success. Looking at the current situation (and trying to take my obvious Carlton bias out of it) I think Collingwood will need to have a serious look at its player list. There seem to be a few who are more intent on racking up loose and easy possessions and not putting their head over the ball when it matters. I honestly think Collingwood will barely make the finals this year but will still finish a few positions higher than the Blues. I do think Carlton have youth on its side, a bunch of young kids who have spent their first years as part of a losing side week in and week out, but now that we have discovered how good it is to win, as well as a game plan that actually works I think we will only get better and better. Will be interesting to see how it all unfolds...

I enjoy talking to a Carlton fan that actually talks sense. I agree that we have a few that are more worried about possies then getting the hard ball. Players like Swan and O'Bree dont put their body on the line and Daisy tried to make everything look mecurial when he doesnt need to. I think ur right, we will scrap in the 8 but we did that last year as well and we got close to the GF. Carlton have a very young side, will be interesting to see how many can stick it out. I dont know how Bower gets a game lol, he is the only Carlton player i dislike which is weird considering i dont like Carlton but i like a lot of their players. We do have a young list as well, maybe not like Carltons but still young enough. Pendlebury, Thomas, Brown, O'Brien, Goldsack, Cook, Anthony, Cloke, Wood. Players like Didak and Swan are 25 so.

I agree about having a decent conversation! I don't know who daisy is though.... Medhurst has been a great pick up for you guys and adds real potency in the forward line. He likes to be flashy, but he is much better when he plays tough footy. Bower does look a little strange and has an "interesting" kicking style. I think it is the fact he is 192cm and is a hard runner that he is gonna get a few games. He can take a good overhead mark also. You do have a long list of good young kids.
Does Malthouse frustrate you as a coach? He seems very one dimensional...

Daisy is Dale Thomas. Worst nickname ever haha. I love Medhurst, was a fan of his at Freo b4 they made him lose weight and moved him into the midfield. I got on him for the Anzac Day medal as well, $17!!! Micky is a very good coach but sometimes he can frustrate me. Take the Carlton game for example, last quarter and still in the game Leon Davis comes on and quicks a couple quick goals to get within 16pts or something and then he brings him off as part of his rotations. Why would u take someone off that is injecting some life into the contest? annoying.
His record speaks for itself though so its hard to knock him.
Hopefully Bucks jumps in sometime, would be great.

taking Davis off was just silly! the guy was running hot and we didn't have a good matchup. I thought last week against the Hawks he would have mixed things up a little in the backline, but it seems he will allow a back to get slaughtered rather than move someone else or try something diferent! Bucks would be good, probably the sooner the better.

last week we had the smallest forward line ever!! we did miss Rocca which isnt normal to say, had no one to provide a contest and create the crumbs for the smaller guys. Cloke was a no show last week but the midifield didnt help his cause. sometimes i just wish they clear up to 40m in the 50m and left Medhurst or Davis in the square and let them own that spot. Rocca and Cloke around 40m with Dids running around them and bomb it to those boys or put it in front. It would work a treat.

i think Greg wants a medal for being such a great football mind. He seems to be able to tell the future when it comes to football. I think we should all bow down and call Greg our master, cause he's so wise. Maybe we can get him a job on the footy show, replacing Sam Newman, cause Sammy doesn't know a thing compared to this guy. I mean 8/8, that's such a feat!! No one in the history of tipping has ever got 8 before. My oh myGreg, you just continue to impress us all.

its great to see collingwood losing. eddie crying, collingwood fans trying to say they coulda won last years granny if they had beaten geelong, which u didnt by the way so u may aswell get over it, stkilda were 1 kick away in 04 and 2 or 3 in 05. now look were they are. collingwoods preimiership clock is ticking away....

You're killing it, girls! I can't understand what you are writing...but as long as you guys can communicate with each other via Cobbly-dock lingo, then knock yourselves out. As far as saying I whinge & whine to get out of our forums...you're well off the mark there! I never have! I love it when you guys come and throw your two cents worth...it's part of the fun! I'm only going on about those points because that is the facts that you have presented before me. Why should I bring other things into it?? Our team did have a win wheras yours didn't....and if I remember correctly, Carlton did beat Collingwood the last time they played. Our losing streak has ended (against you guys) and now that's history...but if I must use history, it does show that we have won more premierships and our head to head record against the Magpies is in the positive. There's nothing to argue. More importantly, Fevola has been playing well..........but the modelling (apparently) isn't going so well!! Ha, ha, ha!! You make me laugh! Pathetic! I could pick on your spelling too but that'll be a waste of energy!

There's a difference between unintelligent errors and typos....but I don't expect you to know the difference. You beat us twice last year?????? Woop dee doo!! How far back can I steep into the archives to find times where we beat Collingwood twice??? The facts are that we have beaten you more times than you have beaten us....you can't win that argument!! You really are an idiot....no, really....bury your head in the sand if you want...but it's not the same team we are fielding, that we were a year and a half ago......remember the spoons...along with that came some draft picks, they are a little handy at the moment and make up about a quarter of the team..then we brought another couple of handy blokes in from Qld and WA that wanted to play for the Ol Dark Blues, cant remember their names, but they looked like they might get a game or two as well.........but if you think or believe its the same team as 18 or 12 months ago....YOU GO RIGHT AHEAD...
