Whether we're at the bottom of the ladder or at the top, we show more pride and effort in our team than any others. We still believe that there's hope. If gay Sydney were in this position, the;d be looking to snag up some poor young fella's for next year. Show some pride in your team.

wat the hell are you talking about??? Me and all the other swans fans have alot of pride for our team... and wen we loser, we think of next week, and dont get all defensive and angry about it. Eagles fans do, now they are on a losing streak, even fans are saying they are up for a bad season, wat kind of "fan" says that???? Hahaha on the bottam of that ladder i just LUURVE hearing that  im very glad that u still believe theres hope, thats so cute :o)

So basically, you just paid out West Coast fans for admitting they may be into a bad season, and then paid us out again for still thinking there's hope? We are proud enough to admit that we aren't going to win every premiership, and that young guys need a chance to grow before having the skills and strength to have another premiership winning season. But they are at a great club to being doing so, which will help them immensely. I guess the young guys at Sydney learn how to punch ppl out, rather than actually play AFL...

hmm not sure on where you got the asumption all young swans players only learn how to punch, as only one of our players have punched sumone, and hes not a young player (very good punch tho) As inb another post you wrote i clearly havent read a newspaper or watched news in the past 6 mnths, well you relly musnt have either in the past few week if you think that all out players, young players, are learning how to punch and not play good afl.... now isnt it correct that one of out young players was on Kerr the other week, and isnt it correct that Kerr was complty tired and out run by a new player, so... i pretty sure i am correct in saying out young players are doing mighty well and they are not learning to punch anyone or anything

Oh Lauren..................and we all know you have the greatest role models in the AFL....give me a break..........Swans have a strong club, great team and lots of heart and tradition......and they have still kept it together since their recent GF appearances....unlike the wiggles who have SELF DESTRUCTED and are looking at a couple of wooden spoons...you know its one thing to be cellar dwellers when you dont have the players and talent..its another to have them and not be able to keep it all together, like the wiggles..Sydney are still contenders and threats to Geelong....look where they are since the 2 GFs Syd played WCE, compared to your mob... Barry Hall is a legend.....he is a player any club would welcome into their forward line...he's a hard nut....and a talented footballer...

they have Hall who is an excelant player, Goodes, OKeefe, Kirk, Buchana, Bolton, Jolly, McVeigh, Barry, Oloughlin to look up as well. I wasnt paying you out for have 'faith' in ur team, i was laughing at ur team 4 losing, and yes swans lose to, and wen they do i still have pride 4 them, but the fact is they r doing well, and eagles arent, so tokk this opertunity to laugh at the eagles fans, is that such a crime...... Get a life!!!!!

Katy, Thanks for visiting and having your say. Bottom line is, you can't go to another supporters forum and say "give up now" because most supporters won't jump ship even if their team is doing bad. Question is, ARE the eagles doing bad? it's round 5, we're 1 and 4.. it's so early in the competition it's a laugh to see people think a team is crap just because they don't win every game from the beginning of the season. Come round 20 and we're 5-15 then I'd say we are probably not doing so well. "Crap team" is a label you should be using on Carlton or Richmond, neither of which have made an impact in the AFL the last few years. "full of druggys" goes to show you obviously watch the news every other night. Good on you. You may want to look into that one though, as we've technically had no more "drug problems" than any other club. Ours happen to be recent, and all over the media. your label "weak idiots" certainly is a laugh. I'll leave that one alone haha... As for cousins, he's gone. Where he goes, who knows. We are fine without him. Everyone makes their own choices. As for your team, without Hall you're a big forward down and I think that's going to hurt you a lot so concentrate there and stop worrying about us so much.

so you edit articles from 2004 to make some sort of case? Both players were delisted shortly after these incidents, and offered support and help for their problems. West Coast were more concerned about Cousins playing footy than his own health. That is where you fall down. Fletcher, Kerr, Cousins, Gardiner etc etc etc... And all the Eagles want to do is cover it up. The Blues are rising,

Not making a case, proving a point. Every club has brushes with the law. THAT is my point. Don't read into it any more than you have to. It's ironic coming from a carlton supporter that you call the eagles "****house" for having their worst start since 1996 to an AFL season. Nomatter how many times I make that point, you still won't grow past it so I wonder why I bother. Will carlton rise? come back in round 20 and we'll see how your going. I'll make my decision then as to whether or not I agree.

The diference between the Eagles and other clubs is the Eagles have been happy to cover over and deny the criminal behaviour of their players, where as other clubs do something about it. And no one really gives a **** about your thoughts on other clubs. Worry about your own club and the trouble they face.

Hey Katy, you need to realise Port are a good team, a very good team. They have pretty much the side that played in the final last year, and are just struggling to get the ball rolling. Should they fire, they will kick the crap out of anyone except maybe Geelong. Hall isn't always a game changing man for you swannies so his absence is not such a downer. You would have lost to geelong anyway. You're far from where you were back in 2005 but maybe you can find your ground and get going. As for us, we'll find our form eventually. Whether this season or the next. Being in the finals for almost 8 years running and we're due for some down time I reckon.

i realise port is a good team, but the fact of the matter is they havent been able to 'get the ball rolling" all season, so it IS quite amusing that the only team ALL season so far they have "got the ball rolling" with is the good old Eagles..... i think that says enuf on that and As for the swans and cats, i think that considering the week that had happened with hall, swannies went in there and tryed there hardest and they didnt get smashed! I knew and every one else knew they really had not a good change of even getting close to a win with them, cuz cats are on great form, but!!!! If that was cats and eagles i can garentee that margin wud have been alot bigger that 30sumthing points... dont u think??? good bye now

katy, when u say all season - u are aware that its only 6 games in, out of 22? why all of a sudden is (and not just from yourself) is there this notion that if you havent won much during the first 1/4 of the season, suddenly you are the worst team in the comp. there are another 16 games to go, lets not lose control just yet people.

I don't know how the eagles will go against Geelong. I can't speculate as nobody can tell. I'm not one for guessing games because in the end it's just opinion. The odds are against us this season, we have to find form and find it quickly if we're going to head into another finals series. Sydney played pretty well and didn't get beaten too badly.. but in the end a loss is a loss. I'm sure the swans will go alright this season, time will tell.

Greg, do you know anything about football? obviously not, I feel dumber each time I write something in reply to your crap. You are a man of the moment aren't you? All this whinging about carlton's "history" but you refuse to look at port's history. I won't recount it for you, look it up. Port have a stellar history for only being in the competition for a short amount of time. Yes they performed REALLY badly in last years GF, but on the other side, Geelong were REALLY good. Don't judge them on a few bad games, they have a really good side. If port does find form again... well at least they'll do better than carlton. I'm not saying we need a break, it's inevitable to have a slump in form. We had a winning combination with judd/kerr/cousins in our midfield but those days are over. We have some good youngsters to step up and hopefully with some experience will get back up there. When that will be... I don't know but I'll be behind the boys nomatter what. At least I'm accepting that, not like some other supporters who have nothing better to do than bag on other teams (and teams that are better than your own)...

I came on here to have my say about eagles, and to basically let the eagles 'fans' out there know that Barry Hall is a great, and that i really dont like west coast, bcuz of a few reason... they are the main team (im not saying the only team) that have druggies and cock head in the team.. its a bad influence to kids and also there arogance just ****s me. Also its bcuz the players and the FANS eg. Wow... You are sooo smart... I really admire how you defended your self here??? 1. If you haven't seen a TV or read a newspaper in the last 6 months, Ben Cousins is no longer playing AFL for West Coast. It may shock you, but it's true.
2. We aren't the ones on this forum having a go at the Eagles because they are losing - that would be YOU. We are here to say that we support the team, through wins and losses. Now just happens to be one of those losing times, and we wouldn't be true fans if we bailed out.
3. You are not on here to argue with random Eagles idiots? Then why would you even write on here? I'm pretty sure you are not that ignorant that a Sydney supporter writing **** about West Coast on a West Coast forum would be welcomed in with open arms. i didnt think i was in need of defending my self... my team isnt the 1 losing on a regular basis????? 1. i am very well aware that cousins dusnt play for eagles... thans for the reminder tho, The reason i have mensioned him in the past on here is bcuz other eagles fans keep going on about how they shud bring him back, i was just stating my opinion on y i think he shouldnt.
2. Of cause im having a go with the eagles fans cuz they are losing, i really dislike the team, so it is quite a joy to see them lose, on a regular basis. And i support the Swans through wins and losses too.
3. I came on here to state my opinion, if that just happnes to touch a few sore spots for you fans out there, then too bad, everyone can say there opinion, but really everything i said is nothing that isnt true. And i wudnt give u the satifaction of stopping wrting on here, as you clearing are upset about the losses, so i am just on here no to rub it in a little more.

well that is ur opinion... My opinion is Barry Hall is a fantastic player, AND after that punch i like him even more. Im bored of having this discussion about the Eagles, cuz eagles suporters are such bad losers and get all sad and depressed wen they lose which seems to b a regular thing....this is propably y all the players are on drugs, just a thought.
