Jessica, I have to give it to the blues supporters... don't be a sore loser. The umpires made the decision, and the blues won fair and square. It was a poor performance by the pies, and the blues fought hard and won it. Don't turn into (a select group of) them and start making excuses. Get on with next week, you're still far ahead of them in terms of the competition and skill, you win some you lose some. One game won't be a comeback for Carlton, a top 8 finish may do. I have my doubts about their ability to get up there, but they surprised me today so nobody can tell. Fact is the pies are more capable of winning the bigger games (ie geelong, brisbane etc) and as such the blues may still not finish above you. Who knows. At the end of the day, give congratulations where it is deserved, and get on with it. Well done to the blues for a hard fought victory, you sure took me off guard. Let's hope you can keep it up aye?

why don't you change your real status to (Collingwood Supporter) you fool! it is obvious you are a closet magpies supporter yet ashamed to announce it. Had a look at the ladder lately wanker? The eagles are a joke... you should spend more time worrying about them than either Carlton or Collingwood.

Can you read or what? it says (Eagles Supporter) man... if I supported anyone else it would say so. I'm not ashamed of whom I support, and I certainly have nothing to hide from you lot. Fact is, most of the pies supporters show a lot more intelligence than you lot, most of you have nothing better to do than down a carton and slag them off like some high school bully (when in fact you're doing it over the internet so it's a really wimpy high school bully) You know Steve, I'll give it to you. You have balls. But that only says to me your brain is in your pants and you're confident about it. Good on you. Your constant references to incest and penises suggests something strange about your sexual preferences, but I won't go any further.... because I don't care. Don't know where you get off calling me a "wanker", just because I think the pies have much more potential than the blues do.. but I hope it made you feel good. Good win by the way, now the blues have peaked for the season (and in round four too.. wow you're really improving) I guess it's all the way back down from here huh? You seem to be a bit like freo.. so content on winning the rivalry yet as for the premiership.. time will tell. The eagles are not a joke, they are having a rough time as a team and so what? everyone goes through the patches... although I will add that ours don't generally last.. what was it.. 14 years? I just like to jump in on the comments for fun... and it's entertaining to see people like you make an idiot out of themselves. Enjoy the ride, it won't last long. GO BLUES!! ...........lol

Eagles where flying high. No more AFL handouts to a disgraced club that has poor player management. So poor that their best player and captain leaves. I figure this is the real reason you visit carlton forum as you are still bitter with Judd wanting to play at a decent club. Kerr not so good this year. Playing Cousins last year just shows how desparate your pathetic club was. I used to love watching Eagles play when they had respectable players in the early 90's it is sad they are a shambles now. Stuart they are a joke because they jave had their head in the sand and weren't concerned about player welfare. Look how they treated Judd they nearly ruined his career by playing him when clearly he couldn't run. Cousins with his drug problems ignored for far to long they could have helped him but then again they were win now and worry later mentality. The end of season OD involving Fletcher in the states a few seasons ago ignored. Under cover drug conservations taped with Cousins and Gardener speaking with underworld drug figures 4 or 5 years ago swept under carpet. Yes again I say they are a joke. I feel sorry for Josh Kennedy for having to play there. I hope they can regain some respect they have lost.

1. AFL Handouts? what handouts? 2. Disgraced club? what disgrace? 3. Poor? coming from a blues supporter? 4. I don't give a crap about judd, but lets see if he can save you. 5. Cousins is a stellar player, but everyone has their problems. Shame on him but he'll get what's coming to him. 6. Desperate? I think not. 7. Shambles? making the finals 8 years in a row? You're making it blatently obvious you have no idea what you're on about. If anyone is in shambles, it's the blues or richmond.. 8. Joke? The eagles are all about player welfare... but what more can they have done? it's not like worsfold is the father of the boys, it's a professional institution and there are rules and regulations to keep to when discipline is needed. 9. Judd chose to play. If he didn't want to, he could have opted out. 10. No, it was not "win now" "worry later" the eagles have done much to help cousins, but they can't help someone who won't help himself. Simple principle of life. 11. Fletcher Ignored? man where do you get your information? 12. Swept under the carpet? The police can't prosecute until substantial evidence has been presented.. and my uncle IS the police sergeant trying to prosecute cousins.. Fair to say I know more than you about that one my friend. 13. Coming from a carlton supporter, what's all this about respect? Man you're a laugh. Don't state your opinion as facts unless the source is reliable. You don't know as much as you profess to.

8 finals in a row... 1 flag won by 1 point in 13 years.....and what? where are you now...Eagles are on the slide...the up side is there is not much further to slide down...lets see the membership numbers over the next 5 years whilst you are a bottom 4 side ..not top 8....! Carlton may have had its time in the bottom 4...but its supporters didnt give up on the club(and they dont leave a game early either regardless of the scoreboard)...thats the difference between cheque book clubs like the weegles and real clubs like Carlton...but...you...just...dont...get...it...! Joke is on the Eagles with JUDD...you never owned him, he knew he was coming to the Blues half way thru 2007 season...you had no bargaining power and thats why you HAD to take what we offered... ROUND 7 IS GONNA BE FUN!!

"Flags" are not the sole determinant of a good team, Greg. If you knew anything about footy, you'd stop trying to force everyone to listen to you and start talking in facts. For example: Port are a good team having a bad season. Freo are a good team who can't be consistant. The blues used to be a good team and have a long way to come.. I'm not denying you will get good again. You will. But I don't think you have the skills yet. Brisbane or Geelong are my bet this season. Man what is with you, it's like round 5 now.. The season ain't over yet so put it back in your pants. I don't care anymore. Whatever you reckon buddy. Believe what you want. In the end the footy does the talking and Carlton are not the only footy team on the planet. GO BLUES. Lets see if you can win s'more aye?

"Flags" are not the sole determinant of a good team, Flags and supporters determine a good CLUB...! TEAMS change, but real clubs don't... Mate you dont have to listen..you can F*CK off to your own forum which is pathetic.. The AFL is an extension of the VFL. The VFL was a SUBURBAN football league, which was attracting crowds of 70-80,000 fans to suburban games like Carlton and Collingwood before you were born...This is how the VFL football culture grew, and more importantly passion from its members. If the West Coast left the competition...we would still have those crowds and West Australians that would still want to play in them... West Australian (& South Australian) footballers went to Victoria to play football at the elite level. And Carlton gave these players the opportunity to play the best football they had to offer, which we would not have seen at WAFL or SANFL levels... Now we invited West Coast to join the VFL...not the AFL...and they accepted..only later did we call it the AFL to make YOU feel better. West Coast were given so many concessions to get established and ultimately created a state club, not a Suburban Club.... we will call them West Australia A...with a pool of talent that was heading for the VFL anyway...you had a whole state to field a team....so early success was expected..... then we created West Australia B..this halved your talent pool so more Victorian and South Australian players started going west to prop up the State teams..like JUDD and PAVLICH... So if you were confused about concessions...you shouldn't be now! You seem to continually confuse Teams with Clubs....maybe thats why if the west coast dont field a winning team....they lose their supporters very quickly...they wont even watch a match out if they are losing...There is no heart in this club..just ferrals The ONLY interstate Club that deserves its spot in the AFL is PORT ADELAIDE.. as a club(not a team) they were for many years better than the local league... again Port were a suburban club with history and culture that was created over a long history not created with a cheque book and concessions..too bad they had to lose there jumper to join.. That is why we have rivalry rounds..it's Port Adelaide as a club vs South Australia..Port should have been in the competition BEFORE the Crows... Carlton vs Collingwood was not created overnight like West Coast and Freo...(what a pathetic game that was)...NOBODY watches that game except west australians....I was in a bigger crowd at a South Freo vs West Perth Grand Final in 1975, than current Eagle Freo games.. Then you have the ferral supporters...who only attend because home games mean they only have 500 seats for the opposing teams supporters...what a joke... The biggest undisputed rivalry round game ..Carlton vs Collingwood was not even covered in the west... this game is legendary, not fabricated, and it just shows the "Head up the ARSE" attitude and denial of classic games..I blame West Coast and Freo of depriving the true football supporters of watching a great game in the west...if they werent playing..we would have been entertained with a great game that would be talked about for years to come by all that witnessed it...instead we all did something else and only coverage via internet! Instead being entertained by visiting clubs champions, we see every champion that comes to Subiaco booed by ferral Eagle supporters....and you will shame yourselves again by booing Judd when he leads Carlton in round 7....This is what have you bastards done to the game since you were allowed into the competition... In Melbourne,(where I lived during the 80's) if your team didnt make the GF you would support the team your mate followed...just to get involved in the grand final...next year it might be your team...this was a unique experience...But here in the west...if the eagles or freo arent in the finals the season is over, and your lucky to get the final screened anywhere live..unbelievable! Longevity of a club is an accomplishment that you discount..not all CLUBS survive...Fitzroy and South Melbourne will tell you that, so Carlton surviving for over 100 years in the competition is relevant..CAN THE EAGLES SURVIVE??? That has yet to be seen. So we (at Carlton) would appreciate it if you would keep your lame comments to yourself, learn about tradition and culture from the REAL clubs, start looking after your own backyard first, and occasionally say "thank you" for us inviting you into our competition.

I'll repeat this for you just in case you didn't read it before: "Just because it wasn't in 1877 when we were formed doesn't discredit us in any way, nor any other club that has been formed since. Fact is, and you blues supporters better get it through your heads, that the most successful team (OR CLUB if you like) in the AFL is probably the Lions who average a premiership every 4 years or so. That's if you judge it on how many premierships are won. Who cares about the total number, it's all proportional (to time)." It doesn't make any difference what it is called. It is now an interstate competition and all the history about it "originally being the VFL" makes no difference anymore. Most of the interstate clubs do very well in the competition, you play with interstate players and we have players from victoria. Who cares? You have made no particularly strong points by bringing this up. As for the rest of your history lesson, I still don't get what relevance it has to do with ANYTHING that happens in the AFL today. You are good on your history.. but history is just that... HISTORY. It does not matter how clubs were formed, what matters is where they are today and what impact they are making. You do know that football was "invented" to keep cricket players fit during their off season? Interesting trivia. (on the side, it's usually dockers supporters who "boo" good players from other clubs, eagles supporters are usually supportive. This is no different to any other place you visit for a footy game. Some people (regardless of club) ruin the game. Remember that WA is really isolated from the rest of australia and there is generally no competition for supporters from other sports. And do you think I give a crap about who wins a GF if it was two victorian teams playing? I'll watch the match but I don't care who wins. Funny you should say that you "support the team your mate followed" considering most of you very profanely and violently contest collingwood supporters.. what if your mate supported collingwood? hrm. Passion is a good thing in footy but some people really go over the top. Footy isn't my life, it is just a part of it. Yes not all clubs survive. The Roos are in trouble at the moment, but I guess that won't be the end of it considering the amount of victorian clubs to split supporters between. No, carlton surviving for over 100 years isn't really relevant. It has nothing to do with what I was saying. Will the eagles be around in 100 years? I would think so considering the support for the AFL here in WA. No, I don't discount the longevity of a club. What I was saying is the amount of premierships you win, how well you "do" in the AFL is proportional to time. Wow you even went to the trouble of calling me "lame". Thanks mate, you're certainly a very mature person. I'll ignore the rest of the 5 year old type name calling you have resorted to. Perhaps you should read a little more carefully because you completely missed my point. Which is, for all you people who can't be bothered reading: How well you "do" in the AFL (wether that be stats or winning flags) is proportional to your time in the AFL. Seeing as we are on this point, would the original VFL be at the same level of popularity as the AFL is now without support from other states should the other states have not been invited into the competition? There's one to think about.

I HAVE NO FRIENDS THAT SUPPORT COLLINGWOOD...and if Collingwood get in a GF I will support the other team...HONESTLY..... Maybe we should move the eagles to Queensland...how would that pan out for you?? and yes we would still have a decent level of football...without the interstate teams that have been manufactured... and 1) we would get to play each team twice a year, which is something that is seriously affecting the value of positioning on the ladder....we all know that the teams that play Geelong this year(for example) have to earn their points harder than those that play them once..and those that are lucky to play the dockers and eagles twice earn their points more cheaply!! 2) teams wouldnt have to travel to the 4 corners of the country every week The Eagles ONCE had a good team........they are spirally out of control...who knows where the will end up??? maybe we need to give them some more concessions to get the back on their feet...it worked before..!

Looks like there will be no finals coverage over here then doesn't it!!!The two teams over here are stuffed.Freo needs to rebuild and off load at least 1/2 dozen front runners. As for the MIGHTY (lol !) West Coast the team that all you bloody hear about over here. They are better off TANKING and getting some draft picks and starting all over again like we have had to in the past.Kerr to join Juddy at the blues next year!Go Blues!!! Can't wait to be sitting at the game against the MIGHTY (ha!) Eagles when Judd leads the Blues to a 1 point win!!!!!!!! Some dark times happening over here, watch the memberships drop at The Champagne Club the Titanic is sinking and all the rats will jump!

The AFL grand final is always on TV here. No they're not stuffed. The last time the eagles had a bad start like this was in 1996 and they turned around and made the finals. Freo does need help and I feel for their supporters. Constantly frustrating that they have the talent but don't deliver. West Coast don't need to resort to tanking. Our draft picks are always good and have provided us with the skills we need. We don't need to rebuild, time and experience will take us back up there again, because we have the talent and we have the developing youngsters who just need to find their form and we will be right. Patience is part of the footy game, not giving up like some clubs and attempting to start again. 1 point win... lol your record at subi is pretty bad. We'll see how you go at the house of pain but don't expect any miracles. Funny you mentioned "rats" jumping. You can keep Ratten, we don't need him lol

It seems I have upset you Stuart. Coming from a Blues supporter that supports a club deep in history not the 20 odd years your club been around. If your happy with how your clubs handled the last 5 years with player welfare and don't think they could have done more to help Cousins when he displayed warning signs 4 or 5 years ago then fair enough. I just think it is a waste of such a great talent and more importantly human life. I deal with drug addicted people and see the enormous waste of life due to these insidious drugs. Simple principle of life in reference to drug addicted people making a choice not to help themselves. Clearly you have no idea the hold these drugs have over people. Ask your uncle about the perils of drugs when he used to walk the beat. Maybe I get on my high horse a bit but I am truely hate seeing wasted human life. Re your point 12 I hope your Uncle wasn't the one that had to pull the Drug driving charges at court due to the arresting intercepting member not being present when the approved drug driving assessor was asking his questions at the station. Got hate letting a crook go on a technical part of legislation. But then again Victoria police has had their fair problems prosecuting people with the recent drug driving legislation. I hope your Uncle is able to successfully prosecute Cousins on any pending charges as the court may direct him to attend treatment. The swept under the carpet comment was no way referring to the WA police service as they were the ones that did the so called ramdon vehicle intercept with the plain clothes officers. Clearly they were sittiing off him. I was referring to the Eagles not supporting him or bringing the issue to a head the 4 or 5 years earlier. I am just stating my opinion like you have been I not quoting any sources they are just my opinions. You are the one who visits our club forum and I encourage futher debate with you. I stand by what I said in my opinion the Eagles have lost a enormous amount of respect within the AFL community and public due to how they have handled issues over the past couple of years. I hope they again become a force within the AFL. As for your Chris JUDD comment not giving a crap about him. Just shows after all the success he brought your club you trash him. I expect that from eagle fans. Carlton supporters certainly don't begrudge players that have moved on. Instead most embrace the loyal service a player gives whilst he played at the club. But then we have never had a captain walk out on us things must have been bad. Good on JUDDY for not trashing your club when he left. See you Stuart why not go back and play with your Eagles friends LOL

No, I'm not upset. Yes, the blues have a very polished history. And so does essendon. So does Collingwood. It doesn't matter how long you've been around, what matters is how well you've done since you've been in the competition. You were a team since 1877, correct? In 131 years, you have 16 premierships. Forget the fact some were VFL premierships. Therefore you average one premiership every 8 years. We entered the AFL in 1987. We have 3 premierships. Therefore average one every 7 years. So who is better? You could argue "carlton have the best history" but since the WCE were formed, we have a good history too. So does Port. So does Collingwood. Just because it wasn't in 1877 when we were formed doesn't discredit us in any way, nor any other club that has been formed since. Fact is, and you blues supporters better get it through your heads, that the most successful team in the AFL is probably the Lions who average a premiership every 4 years or so. That's if you judge it on how many premierships are won. Who cares about the total number, it's all proportional. Teams don't need to win premierships to be good teams. Luck is a factor, especially with injuries, illnesses and other influences. As for cousins, If your work found out you took drugs, but you didn't take them at work (or it could never be proven) how would you expect your boss to handle it? The eagles did all they can, and the media has blown it up a lot. Who is to say Cousins is even a avid user? he might even be a dealer... But nobody wants to talk about that. They want to talk about his "substance abuse problem" he has "admitted" yet the intensity is over speculated, he's gone to "rehab" and has screwed his career by messing with the law and breaking club rules. He hasn't actually been kicked out because he was caught using drugs. I have sympathy for people on drugs. One of my good mates OD'd and it was unexpected for everyone. His loss was a waste so I understand it. Suffice to say that these people need help. He is the police sergeant/prosecutor who had to call off the charges. It was not a drug driving assessor who pulled him over and charged him, it was squad detectives. The big boys. And they screwed up. Ben will get what is coming to him, in the end, I hope he learns his lesson and improves himself. He is a stellar footy player and it's a shame to see anyone of his skill ruin it. Same with Hall, he has his moments but a hothead mistake and he gets hit with the books.. again. I like to have a chat, same as you. In the end it's just footy and it's all good fun. It doesn't run my life, but I like to watch it. Remember that any team that has the media on them has the potential to "lose respect" the eagles have not done less than any other club would have done. It's all political in the end. The blues/essendon/port/whoever would have been through the same scrutiny because no person nor institution is perfect in handling such sensitive issues. As I said - squad detectives. NOT officers. These were people who have been tailing him for a long time trying to catch him in the act. Whatever variation is said through the media is sensationalised. Judd is a good player. I don't give a crap about the fact he went to Carlton. It's his life, his choice. Not in one place have I "trashed" him nor said he's a bad player. He's a brilliant football player, who may have a quieter season without some of our boys to back him up. But I'm sure your young guns will learn from him and keep up with him. He will always be a good footy player, but he's no longer an eagle so doesn't get as much of my attention anymore. That's footy. Nobody has said he walked out because of "things being bad". But carlton supporters seem to think he came running to start a "new era" and that's that. Did he choose carlton because of the money? because of the facilities? because its down the road from his house? who knows. He chose carlton, so be it. Hope he serves you well. Such is life. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

JESSICA here is the free kick count Carlton - 18 Collingwood - 16 so you're trying to tell me 2 more free kicks = almost 100 more possesions and 50 more marks? I understand you are probably frustrated after a loss but if you dead set believe you only lost due to umpiring then you are seriously delusional. We almost had the EXACT amount of free kicks as each other and you had nowhere near as much of the ball! You need a reality check and by the looks of how Collingwood played today, you're gonna get a few more before the seasons out.
