Port Adelaide - The team without a jumper
YOU WILL ALWAYS BE KNOWN AS THAT OTHER TEAM IN ADELAIDE THE ONE WITHOUT A JUMPER.

I just wanted to express my opinion like Angie. You embarrassed the football world with your G.F performance. You don't deserve a guernsey with the black and white in it

GO the real black and white

There supporters are feral as well. Just go to a game and you will see that.

from reading the posts i can see why collingwood and port adelaide fans are the most uneducated, feral supporters in the league.
also... port adelaide is definatly the best magpies the AFL has seen. there record speaks for itself.

Might I point out a few things:

1) Collingwood, forming out of the ashes of the red, blue and white team Britannia, were forced to change to white and black because of Footscray.
2) Until recently, Collingwood wore mainly white with black, while Port wore mainly black with white. Much like Geelong/Carlton, there would have been no clash. Only Collingwood reversing their colours made a clash.
3) Port Adelaide has clearly been a more successful team historically, and certainly in the past 50 years, than Collingwood.
4) Port Adelaide Power have put some of the most hideous guernseys ever seen on a football field (except for the infamous Hawthorn diamonds strip). What is wrong with solid colours? Why do they need teal with lots of tiny silver triangles and a photograph of an actual lightning strike? Why not solid fields of colour like everybody else?
5) Incidentally, the prison bars design is decidedly ugly. Historical, but ugly.
6) If Port Adelaide and Collingwood weren't so mutually arrogant with each other, Nick Stevens wouldn't be at Carlton - so thanks, guys.

Not to mention that Port Adelaide are a much older club and have much, much more tradition and class than Collie ******s.

In 1994, I felt like the Cats should have not been there in the GF. I enjoyed Billys massive hanger, but I am NOT proud to say we came 2nd that year (unlike '89). I am so satisfied we put Port in the ground last year, but I wouldn't be trying to defend your 2nd place. Would you have rather lost the prelim by a bag of goals or the GF by the only time in history a GF has been won by a 3-figure margin? All Port really is, is a "cover version" of an old SANFL team with a very shyte song. Sorry, but I have to brag all I can because it may be another 44yrs before I can do it again!!!

Well I siuppose you comment is fair - I mean we don't know how collingwood went becase THEY DIDN'T MAKE IT! No other team really has a right to comment - we have no idea how they would have faired against a very good Gellong team because they weren't there!

You cant really go on previous matches - the power beat Geelong in round 22 and what did that prove? And the week before the grand final we SMASHED the Kangaroos. When it came to the day - Geelong were just too good. It was a very very ordinary performace by the Power but they are not the first team nor will they be the last to have a REALLY REALLY bad game. My comment is though, ntat no other team (other than Geelong) really has a right to comment as they were not good enough to make the grand final.

And collingwood magpies are just so much better are they??? And as for the guernsey we do deserve it, we are probably one of the youngest sides in the AFL and we give our players ago unlike Collingwood.
