we were great first half, but looked like the fellas just didn't want the win. we can only blame ourselves for the second half performance. and as for the venue... sheesh... a game like that and they play at a second rate stadium that dates back to the Middle Ages...

The most important thing is that the boys keep their confidence up. It was losing to Geelong that 'broke' us last season. I was hoping that the Dogs would at least stick with the Cats all day to prove, win or lose, that we can match it with the Cats. The Dogs NEED to bounce back. Two losses in a row could start a downward spiral that, while we're pretty much assured a top 3 spot, could break the boys confidence.

What we need to be focusing on is beating the cats next time; when it counts.

Also, we did lose to quality opposition. It's not like we lost to StKilda or anything ...

We were in seventh spot when Geelong beat us in round 16 last year, this year we are three games clear of forth, which is alot more comfortable than last year, although you are right in saying that we musn't loose our confidence. The boys seem to have been lacking in a bit of something that was so dominant before the mid year break. Our major ball winners have been a bit off with Aker having only 11 touches and Welsh with just 8 against Geelong.

I think we need to focus on beating Carlton this Sunday, and one of the first things I believe we need to focus on is to put more pressure on the ball carrier, we had that down pat before the break, Geelong just toyed with us in the last quarter yesterday yet still applied enough pressure for us to keep making rushed decisions and ultimately turn the ball over. We have been applying that sort of pressure to teams and our last quarter efforts have been so much better, we are better than a 61 point thrashing from Geelong.

it was disapointing to see the fight not be brought to the fourth qauter and to see them be out ran out played......... would of loved to be a suported to sing the song out loud and be spoken about as a real contender for the 2008!!!!!!!!!! disapointing to get to geelong and see the boys loose by that much i didn't expect to see us win but too loose by that much was really unexpected

tru and i agree with william but the most annoyin thing was tht they jus stopped runnin after the lng break, were supposed to b the 3rd quarter specialist and......well we all kno wat happened. Geelong may b quality but we shud have done alot btr thn we did.
