Best Doggie Game you ever went too?
Would have to be the 2000 game against an undefeated Essendon! The Essendon Supporters where so smug thinking it would be another easy win!

The end was awesome!!!! Down all night until that Chris Grant goal on the Boundary line! Still sends shivers up my spine thinking of it!

Notable mention to the last game at Whitten oval when we gave it to Gardiner before the Game started! It was so cold that day!

most pumped i've been in a long time was against Collingwood in the 2006 prelim. they say beating collingwood is 30% sweeter than anyone else... i reckon 45%!!! lol.

I've been going to bulldogs games since i was a little tacker. Back when Simon Atkins and Sedat Sir played. I've seen more games lost than won, but I'll never forget when we beat Essendon in round 21 in 2000 when they hadn't lost a game yet.

When we played the Crows in round 20 2006. no one thought we had a chance and they came out firing. Johson 300 game and any game that includes beating the Pies (mostly the 2006 final series game).

I have only been going to games for the past few years so there have been a lot of good games I've watched on TV, but the best game I've ever attended was the elimination final in 2006, v collingwood.

For starters, we won! AND who did we beat? Yes, the most hated team in the league! It was such a tense match and there had been a really big build up - it was an amazing day! Biggest game I've ever been to (attendance-wise) and there was so much spirit there

Hopefully there will be more great finals memories this year!

its hard to go pass the Ess v Bulldogs game in 2000, but last Sunday in Johno's 300th has taken the cake. The boys dug really deep for Johno and for him to kick the last 3 goals, i have watched that last quarter 10 times I think last week !!!

I agree with Darren..Essndon vs Buldogs Rn 22, 2000...how good was it to stick it up to those arrogant Essendon supporters.. still puts a smile on my face

And yes the last game at Whitten Oval, got to hug the adorable Monti that day

went to the western oval when i was about nine ( a long tim ago!!)
and saw them annhialate the crows by about 80 odd points... that was when they still had a standing area and pies tasted good. i think dougie hawkins was still playing as well.

that ess2000 game was awsome, my memories are of the bustup at half time that spured us on in the second half. iv got some great memories of watching footscray from the whitten stand with mum while the old man got tanked on the terrace, great place and will always be a special place to me. watched some great games out at optus 'poo' oval, didnt we own that ground!! the dome is great to watch from but will never b the same as the old suburban grounds.

From recollection it would have to be either Crofty's last game or last year's opener against Geelong. Hargrave's right cross to Heath Black (we had a perfect view) was the best AFL "punch" i'd seen.

Best doggies game I ever went to was the final against Collingwood in 2006 the awesome play through the centre of the ground and finishing off with 6 points nearly every time was very crowd pleasing infact I dont think I've ever heard the doggies fans make so much noise! We silenced the loudest supporters in the league, it was great! The tram ride back to the city from the MCG was a chorus of Sons of the west what a buzz...

I have this game on DVD thanks to "name that game" (along with a few others, 1st final against Collingwood in 2006, WB V Bris round 19 2005? Matty Robbins Mark of the year, that game was awesome we were up ny 7 goals, Briosbane hit the lead early int he last Q). I am so glad to have a copy of the Essendon game, I watch it at least every few months and still close my eyes as Granty has THAT shot at goal.
