Who's goin to the Lions game?
i hear it is goin to be a cold and wet day on saturday at the game. how many people will show up? they are expecting 30,000 people. hopefully they can get 40,000 people even though it is goin to be cold and wet.

hopefully we can see 30,000 red, white and blue supporters.

come on the doggies.

There are 5 of us going up we have booked our flights but also dont have our tickets. They are all sold out through the club so we have to get them from ticket master.

funny part is i whent to the state of origin here in Qld (free tickets), they were all wrapped that they goy 50,000 odd there. HAd to chuckle to myself considering that in cold weather in melb on a sat game we got 40,000.... pretty amusing hey.....

i went to the game and it didn't look like that many people where there but when it came up on the screen that there was 40,000 people i wasn't really suprised. people love AFL and they will turn up doesn't matter what the weather is like.
that amount of people for a melbourne team and an interstate team is very good (but the lions do have a good melbourne fan base).

40000 was a really good turn out. Lets hope we can beat Collingwood by 10 goals this Sunday.

I'm going to the game tomorrow with 2 bus loads of school kids, thats gotta make up a few numbers and noise. We are gunna be the loudest group there! We'll all be rugged up a bit of rain never hurt anyone. It's true though, you just want the place to be a sea of red, white and blue.
