The Western Bulldogs will make into the finals. They are the best team in the AFL and this year the dogs will win the flag all the Bulldog players are at their super best form especially aker and johnson. The Dogs always go out and win thats why the Doggies are such a brilliant team to support so you Doggie supporters out there start ringing up 1300 GO DOGS! and start supporting the Doggies because this year fans the Dogs are going to win the flag this year because this is the dogs year. GO DOGGIES, GO DOGGIES, GO DOGGIES this year the DOGS will prove the supporters that don't believe in them the Dogs will show them wrong and show them, how brilliant the team is and how Rodney Eade is the best coach in the comp.!

we need about 6 more wins out of 10 games to finish well in the top four, at 16-5-1. hawthorn, geelong and sydney are the ones we have to watch for, cant see anyone else beating us this year... maybe adelaide... again.

spot on Ryan
im getting more and more confident we can out-gun the hawks and the cats!
if we pLay the crows in a finaL (god forbid the preLim!!) i wiLL be dead set ****ting myseLf in the stands. but we're a better team than the crows and we can beat the swans too!
To be honest with you- im hoping north dont make the 8! i know the Last two times we've pLayed them they've had archers 300 and boomers 250 but those bLoody shinboners....

we just gotta be switched on from the first whistLe! we wont get away with these sLow starts in september

We have what it takes to win the flag this.
All our young players are coming into form and how good is young gun Callen Ward still in high school.

And my man AKER is back to his best.

It's the doggies year this year.
We are always finding ways to win which is good, we so looked gone against Collingwood yesterday but we got through.

Weve got what it takes to finish up 1st on the ladder and steal the flag.
Joshua from Melbourne (Bulldogs supporter), 13 Jun 2008 3:54 hide comment
what have they got to choke up about? their young and fearLess and havent gone into any game underprepared this year! Rockets got more time to think footbaLL and tactics and i honestLy dont think any confidence wouLd have been Lost from the north game- afteraLL we had the game won! they didnt beat us- we (johno) Lost it! if anything it wouLd have stoked the fire in the beLLy!!
bottomLine- if we finish top four we have as good a chance as anyone! the cats absoLuteLy dominated us the second time we pLayed them Last year- they were just too strong and knocked us off the baLL- but we're stronger this year no doubt! & if the hawks can do us a favor and get them out of our way in september- we can beat the hawks!
you never know! we might just pinch one!!

I agree with everthing you are saying except for one thing. You can not blame that loss on Jono alone. We had a 27 point lead a half time. Then we allowed them to kick 3 unanswered goals early in the third. We gave away 2 or was it 3 50 metre penalties that resulted in goals and a couple of dud passes that resulted in goals, Linsays kick in from the goal square is the main one that springs to mind.

yeah fair point! I onLy put the bLame on Johno because we've come to reLy on his abiLity to have kicked 1 of those 3 chances he had in the Last quarter!
Ive been hard on johno since the beginninng of the season- i dont Like anyone pLaying under 100% fit and he was far from 100% for a few weeks there! We've got the depth now, he shouLd've rested himseLf!

...I stiLL Love ya Brad

Absolutely and I was thinking that weeks ago, he should have rested after the Melbourne game for a few weeks. Not just 1 game.

And I was there when he took that mark right on the siren, standing on level 1 right near the kangas cheer squad. They were going off. And all the Bulldogs supporters, me included were, freakin, like OMG can he get this, Oh no what if he misses, not one of us stood up and screamed C'mon Johnno you can do it, because we know he can do it and as you said we have come to rely on him doing that sort of stuff. And in the end you'd much rather loose the game, knowing that it could've been yours, than some of the floggings we copped late last year, where we had no chance from the start.

I think for sure we will make semis, but if we get 2 grand final, i think we will choke up a bit. Heres for hopin that im wrong coz its been a long time since wins.
Kellie from Melbourne (Bulldogs supporter), 11 Jun 2008 11:27 hide comment
yeah, i argee. give us a chance. we've picked up, improved dramatically since last year. we might have a side that has a lack of experience, but we have a team that consists of young guys that can run hard and tackle hard. while i do think we lost a bit of confidence after the game against north, i think we've proved in the last couple of games that we can build it back.

don't give up yet, we've only got the best footy ahead fo us. our team is the team of the future.

John from Melbourne (Bulldogs supporter), 10 Jun 2008 22:05 hide comment
Have some faith, Brooke! Geelong were one of the least experienced finals sides last year, but made it up for playing for each other. If you look at our performances so far this year, that is a character that defines us.
If someone is down, someone else picks up the slack, and with Westy and Missy Higgins to come back, we're looking good.
Every premiership team has its stars, but is quality down the list to player 30 or so, and has few injuries, and that again is us this year.
I know 11 rounds is a long time, but have faith. We're on the right track.
GIVE IT TO THE AFL DOGGIE STYLE!!
Katherine from Frankston (Bulldogs supporter), 9 Jun 2008 7:43 hide comment
it hard to say. it depends who we play and were we finish at the end of round 22. well we have proved that we can win games without West and Johnson (not having an impacted in games), we can proved that we can win games with our young side.

if we finish top 4 we can go far but if we finish 5-8 it might be hard to go far. we will just wait to see what happens between now and round 22.
