Can the Dogs beat the Saints?
I think we can beat the saints again this year. we are growing as a team and everyone is playing as a team. i think we can beat the saints by 20 points or more.

I know it may sound wussy, but really when I go to a game the main thing I hope for is a decent display. I just want to see the boys play well. And even though I didn't get the opportunity to be in Tassie on Saturday, I was just so wrapt to see them really play for the full four quarters against Hawthorn. Your right in saying that they have grown as a team this year, they've actually had the chance to play as a full group, totally fit and in form. I wonder if it's the new development at Whitten oval thats adding to their form. Bulking up has helped a player like Wil so much this season, but I think being the first team back into training, they were back into it in October, has helped alot.

As for beating the Saints, I'll never go to a game thinking that it's a given, so long as it's a team effort and a good game, I'll be happy. But I think the Saints'll be doing their research this week...

Agreed. As much as i live to see the doggies win week in week out its much more satisfying as a supporter to see them playing well as a whole team unit. The way they played together against the hawks proved just how dangerous we can be. The tackling.. the pressure on the ball carrier was brilliant and yet we had players there to help in case things got a bit tricky. Going on form, Saints haven't got a hope in hell but i will never go into a game thinking it's going to be an easy win. When you do you're more then likely to end up disappointed. We did that against Richmond and look what happend?. That being said if we play like we did last week, regardless of how the saints play i think we should come out winners.

Im sure we can beat them!
by at least 5 goals..
That being said if we lose I dont think its to much a big deal as long as we beat Brisbane the following week!
