Brian Lake is easiLy our most IMPORTANT PLayer... foLLowed very cLoseLy by DaLe morris! (especiaLLy with my man Lindsay having a bad trot of form!!).

Like every great side tho, every part is vitaL- Cooney has stepped up and is dominating in the middLe! Griffens run and evasive skiLLs send shivers down my spine! Murphy is a freak- in the air, on the deck and with his feet!! Aka taLks the taLk- and waLks the waLk Like no other in the League!! his skiLLs, his successes, his confidence in himseLf and HIS team are priceLess! Johno is a champion who has to adjust his roLe every week to fit in with a deveLoping group. Cross and Boyd are machines! Mitch Hahn is a huge asset but guys Like Wight, CaLLan & Minson have stepped up and aLong with DyLan Addison they have Lifted the standard of our best 22!! cant wait for Tom WiLLiams to find his AFL feet! & Shaun Higgins getting fit! & for everitt to show us why hes wearing the number 3 on his back!!!

Bulldogs have really played well as a team this year, but I think the new players like Hudson and Welsh have added something special.

Johnno being the captain is definitely the heart of the side, and he will always be seen as a true champion of the WBFC, but this year the side has proven that they can win without him playing. I think probably the best thing to have happened is that we're not relying on him so much up forward.

But I agree with Katherine, it's the return of Griffo, Hahn, Crossy all from injuries they were carrying last year and Murphs is in career best form as well at the moment. Aker has really stepped up this year and not to forget Brian Lake in defense he has been a champ so far. And who'd of thought Coons would have been one of the favorites for the brownlow.

Considering we have had up to 15 goal scorers at times this year I think proves that it's a real joint effort at the moment. And I haven't mentioned Gia or Boydy who have both started exceptionally well. Considering Gia tore his hamstring late last season but it miraculously re joined itself apparently.

And finally Hudson and Welsh would have to be some of the best picks in years. They seem to have slotted in to the team so well.
So if we win a premiership in my life time I hope it's while I'm still young enough to party for a week afterward..

all are very important.. johnno is a champ who is still playing good footy and his experience in finals will be important.. murph and cooney have really stepped up this year and are both superstars.. good thing about us at the moment is that where not relying too heavily on one or two players.. everyone is contributing.. we're looking good!
