after 8 rounds i can say that we will make it to the 3rd round of the finals series and we might have a chance of making grand final this year.

I hope it is guys. But we still need a decent full forward. Brad Johnson can only do so much. Now that umpire Goldspink is finished, anything is possible.

But we lost by 54 points!!! See it's all in the numbers. (plus it's only NAB cup, it's not real footy)

I'm also a hopeless dream and would love to see us win a flag in this life time!!!

As much as I would love to say YES, surely can't be confident after their efforts against the bombers last night. Could be another long year.

This is our year!!

We got our only premiership in 1954 which was 54 years ago and our score last night was 54.

It's all in the number!!!

GO DOGS!!!

I hope so. 9 and a half wins and we finish 13th?? What crap!! 13th is where you finish if you win 6 games. We are far better than our finsing position would indicate, and with our key players fit and firing, we should go deep into September.

I certainly hope so! When the dogs win the gand final, I am gonna get my first tattoo and party for a week!

Top 8 is not acceptable we must finish top 4! With the list we now have and and the new additions Hudson,Welsh and Callan...
I definently think if we have a good run without Injuries we can do it!
Cant wait to see how Higgins goes this year!

Saw Coons at Glen a few days back!
Looks solid and Farren's put on 7kg!!
Aker will dominate games once again and johno and Welsh are gonna have shooting comps and form the most effective forward line in season 2008.
Go dogs!!

Injury free we now have the size and the players to win the flag. We have a great forward line and a good ruck division, all our backman will have the experience they need now and our midfield, well do i need say more? When you have a midfield that boasts the names West, Akermanis, Cross, Cooney, Boyd you cant go wrong. Grant wont be a loss. We didnt have him when we won our games last year and we beat every team in the 8 except for West Coast so we will ok
Wayne from Melbourne (Bulldogs supporter), 10 Jan 2008 14:33hide comment
This is the year....

I think we've picked up some handy players (from the Crows haha) in Hudson and Welsh (both in their best 22).

However, while our running brigade will still retain their class we may lack a little in the big man department, particularly with the retirement of Grant.

Hope to see big things from Tom Williams this season.
