Having watched the past few games, I have noticed that The Eagles have not only been very poor in the kicking department, but they have been overusing the ball and get caught out, leading to turnovers that eventually end up in oppostion goals. The overuse is in the handball department and why they continue to handball to a player (whilst they have an opposition player with them or infront of them) amazes me. Even when they have players running through the middle, they make mistakes with basic handpasses. They put themselves under so much pressure when they do this. I believe the best way at the moment is direct football. One less handball (replace this with a kick which is long and direct). No wide switching for what becomes useless posessions and also gives the opposition enough time to get numbers back in defence.
Lastly, The Eagles seem soft and the opposition have easily been able to bump, grap and push their way into a marking or goal kicking position to punish them.
1) Improve kicking and handball skills
2) More physical toughness in one on one contests
3) Play Direct Football and do not overuse the football.
Go eagles.
