It looks like they are getting worse...
Well not all the players... but there's a few very experienced players, who just seem to be getting worse, each week.... also, the eagles have a big problem with not being able to read the play.... atleast Le cras, had a good come back.. just wish it would all start gelling....

i'm probably being my usual hopeful self, on the eve of another round of footy.... but i guess, you never know... we could topple the premiers... we need the same sort of showing, as was seen in the sydney game... but as mentioned below.... 4 quarters please, not 1 and half....

Well it's about time worsfold started putting in the experienced players instead of holding them in the wafl.Good to to see paddle pop HANSEN back with kerr fletcher and old man braun.Would like to see eagles play four quaters of footy like they did against Adelaide.Cmon eagles would love a win .

Wirra is a god - definately doesn't get the credit he deserves!!
What p*sses me off is the whole bombing it into the forward 50 without even looking for a target!!
Even tho I don't wanna mention the 'T' word that Carlton seem to have mastered over the last couple of years, but as each week goes by with yet another loss.....I'm really starting to wonder??? I mean think about it - Braun & Fletcher (experienced midfielders) don't make the trip due to injury - then Kerr our #1 midfielder is a late withdrawl although apparently he wanted to play - all in a game against the side we are equal on the ladder with???
The Eagles are my life, believe me, but I think there might be ulterior motives this season?

i wouldn't blame the eagles for being more motivated in draft picks this season, than trying to finish it off in a respectable fashion.... the season is a write off, so we may as well get something out of it... that we wouldn't normally have the oppertunity of getting.... #1 draft pick... hmm... well thats my rants and ravings anyways....

Totally agree Don!! Starting to picture Daniel Rich slotting into the midfield rather nicely (maybe gettin a bit ahead of myself there)
Might sound odd and I'm sure there are going to be other Eagles fans chucking a wobbly but I was happy Freo won by such a margin so that we would drop into 15th spot on the ladder - we've gotta face it, as far as finals go, the season is over so may as well try and get a chance at decent draft picks. Give our young guys a chance to get used to footy at AFL level this season and get things together ready for next season so we can come back stronger and be the force that we all know we are

one thing i noticed though.... of all the losing teams the round gone.... we were the second highest scoring losing side... with 91 points, i think the best was 94 points... but apart from one game... you had to score over 100 points to win a game... so we've got to get that forward line and mid field going... keep wirra up the front...!

Yep Wirra was pretty good, he's definately one of the few shining lights for the eagles this season... i think it's definately shaping up to be he's best season.... he's doing it all... to be honest... i reckon he should be the captain... he is one of the few and probably the only experienced players beside Kerr, who can read the play of the game and direct the troops, while still putting out a great effort...

That loss capped off my **** week.I was so excited about going to the game last night .I thought we were gonna win.I ended up sitting with Aus kick families and I couldnt swear.Yes Le Cras played well and all I can say is THANK GOD FOR WIRRA.

There are many reasons why we are not winning games. It's not just about the form of some players, as many are doing really well individually.

But unfortunately that does us no good if they cant get their sh.it together and play as a TEAM!
They deserved to lose that game - I dont like saying it - but it is true!

They totaly deserved that loss - they played like sh.it - never before have I been embarrassed by my beloved Eagles - but that was shocking
