Woot!! Let's see a West Coast-Geelong GF in 2008. How good would that game be!!

LETS GET BEHIND KENNEDY! we need a foward more than a midfielder?
Kris (Eagles supporter), 31 Jan 2008 19:18hide comment
Can't wait for season 2008. Looking forward to the new recruits and how Woosha introduces them into the side.
The loss of Judd and Cousins will change the way the boys go about it a great deal and no doubt the coaches and staff have been addressing this over pre-season.
Bring on season 2008

Eagles will go good this year, just need to win a few more interstate games - maybe 5 will see us in the top 4 along with the usual home record.

Judd was an awesome player, and will probably go on to be one of the game's greats, but Cousins will not be missed ... Matt Priddis as a surprise Brownlow winner!

I agree but I couldn't think of anything worse than Judd going to Collingwood.

yeh collingwood would be pretty bad could you imagine eddy's stupid face if he got Judd! OMG to horrible to even think of. But if judd went to the dockers then he would still be here in Perth and as if we dont hate the dockers enough just imagine how full on the derby's would be. Crazy!!

seriously i dont know why everyone makes a big deal about judd leaving the injury he is carrying has a real bad habit of recurring and the is a very good chance he will be plagued by it for the rest of his carreer so its a good thing he is gone coz at least the other boys wont need to carry him like they did last season. Oh and in case u havent guessed i really really dislike chris judd and was rapt when i heard he was going it was the best news i had heard from the club all season hahahahahahahaaha
Christopher (Eagles supporter), 17 Jan 2008 16:18hide comment
For many years I have been hammered by friends who said Juddy would not last and I always said the big difference was that Chris understood the principle of loyalty to the Club that gave him the chance to play with the best in the land and gave him the captaincy. Seems that either I am a very bad judge of character (no pun intended) or Juddy lost faith in the Club admin. At least it leaves Kerrie with no option but to step up to the greatness we all know he has. By 2009 it could be "Chris who?".
Taryn (Eagles supporter), 29 Jan 2008 0:19hide comment
I miss Juddy too, but I'm really looking forward to this season -- we can still make the top 4 barring any major injuries. Daniel Kerr for the Brownlow
Stephen from Perth (Eagles supporter), 26 Jan 2008 10:42hide comment
good riddance to judd he is not the player everyone thinks he is. Cuzzy will be missed ten times more than wot judd ever will be. but its all good coz kerr will play the season of his life with out any suspensions, woosha will be smart and put young shannon hurn on the middle to run with kerr, braun, pridda. The great West Coast Eagles will rise again like a phoenix from the ashes. Im hangin out for the beginning of the season. CARN BOYS DO US ALL PROUD
Blair from Port Hedland (Eagles supporter), 22 Jan 2008 17:47hide comment

Juddy & cuz are gone, but we have big coxxy (ruck of the century), glassy (fb of the century), kerry (middie of the century)....we also have so many good players coming up.........we don't need the brownlow (love it as we might), we'd love the cup again. woosha is a bloody legend.....

cousins will be missed, but we dont want him back really. Too much trouble, he will never sought himself out because he doesnt want to he is happy with who he is well so it seems anyway. People who get caught up in certain lifestyles dont seem to realise until its too late, I just hope we never hear that dreadful news flash saying its got the better of him, if you know what i mean.....

I have been a fan of Cuz since his very first game and have just watched again his amazing display in the 06 GF. The game and the Club are so much poorer because he has been forced out of the one thing in his life that he seemed to have some control over. It is often said that "what happens on the ground should stay on the ground" and the reverse should apply as well. Ben's actions off-field did not bring the game into disrepute, only himself.

GO YOU MIGHTY WEST COAST EAGLES!! I cant wait to see the boys show everyone that we will once again be one of the teams to beat in the 2008 season.

Oh and I hate the dockers sooo much!!

Just cant wait for the season to start. It should be an interesting year, lets hope the boys can prove everyone wrong and show them all that we can win without juddy and ben. Hope Priddy has a good pre-season and comes out in 2008 with all guns firing!!!! GO EAGLES!!!!
Edward from Perth (Eagles supporter), 9 Jan 2008 7:19hide comment
We still have Kerr, Cox and Hunter plus some good younger players like Butler, Waters and Nicoski.

I think we'll be alright!
