West Coast Eagles Youngbloods
So no one is happy about our season so far, but hey, lets look at the bright side for a moment.
We have discovered some young players who have the talent, sure they need some experience and maybe to bulk up a little, but once they get their groove, I think they will be a force to be reckoned with.

I agree, the young guys are playing better than the more experienced players - it's about time they stepped up. Sure, we can be a force in a couple of years but my worry is, will those guns leave us just like Juddy......

I agree. Considering how young they are and how well they are playing and leading the team I think we will be in for great things. I do think it's about its about time some of the older players pulled their finger out or the selection committee dropped a few of these oldies to give them a wake up call. It would also be good to try some of the players waiting in the wings and test these younger ones. Since we have already been written off and not a finals chance bring in the newbies - see what they can do - it may well frighten many.

Rebuuilding because we lost 2 players is bull@#$%. Although the 2 players were woth 4 players because they were top quality. We need the "older players/premiorship players" to lift and lead the side, not mope around the paddock racking up possesions and saying well we are rebuilding. If we have the heart we are reknowned for we will be better for it. Look at Sydney they peaked against us, what makes them different. Take out Barry Hall and Darren Jolly, all of a sudden would they be classed as rebuilding too????

Linda's comments ring true. The Eagles are rebuilding (there's no doubting that) I was at the gane against the Bulldogs and we showed some promise. The Dogs are a top 5 team and zone out well. We are still struggling up forward and we got sucked in by the flooding to the point that when we attacked, the likes of Lynch etc were way outside 50. Ther's no doubt that we are struggling in most parts. Our defence did well and its our midfield (Kerr can not do it all and has relied on passes from Judd, Cousins)However, you did let us down again Daniel. You have had the opportunity to win the Brownlow and lost it with suspensions. It happened again on Saturday night with the headbutt. You let your team down and with our injury status, we will be lucky to beat the blues this Friday.Play direct Eagles.Good showing from Chad Jones and McKinley. Darren Glass is a true leader and Wirra (you shone back in defence) where you belong.
