Ben at collingwood
Okay so Ben has been seen in talks with mick malthouse.. 12 months and the victorians will go for hi.. bloody typical! They give us all **** calling us Druggies and the minute he is free they will lap him up... I think he should be allowed to come back to the eagles!

We can't have him, so why not?, it's not like it was his decision to leave, he didn't do a Judd? Good luck to him.

The Eagles have no one to blame but themselves, their treatment of Ben was a disgrace. You have a young man battling a serious problem and all the club do is cut him loose because they were afraid of loosing a draft pick or points. By getting rid of him they have lost a lot more than that.

The Victorian press hung him out to dry because it suited them, but once he is on the open market they will embrace him with open arms. The only looser will be a cowering West Coast.

I never thought I'd say it but I hope he woops them when he plays against them...

I wish he would come back but i don't ever see it happening. Too much media spotlight on him. In victoria there is 8 teams and less coverage of particular players. I just reckon he won't come back to WA so he can have a clean break of sorts

Thats why they are victorians mate. They are kiddingthemselves. Ben wasnt even convicted of anything and banned from the AFL for a year. Didak from Collingwood was shogun in a driveby shooting and still playing WTF is that. Which our president have his fingers in all the pies. Literally

From what I hear he is banned for a year from AFL, after that he should be able to go where ever he likes and we should all just be happy hes clean

i thought he was indefininately banned from the AFL entirely, or does that not include collingwood? ;p

I hope for Ben's sake he can come back to football. It doesn't really matter who he plays for but just that he gets his life back on track. As a victorian WCE supporter i cope the drugs jokes all the time. It is sad that things got so bad but there is no bitterness from me. Maybe completely leaving Perth and the bad environment would be best for him!

I totally agree that he should come back to West Coast, however I don't think they are exactly scraping the bottom of the barrel - from pics and all reports ive heard, he is clean now, and once again he will be a great player. I will be sad to see him in any other colour than blue and yellow!
