Will we see eagles in another Grandfinal..
Sorry guys but i think we wont see them in a final let alone a grand Final in the next 5 years.. just seems the passion and team playing has gone.. i used to love watching the ball go up the field perfectly and magically now it seems the magic has gone and were are left with allot of tired and inexperienced players. I love the eagles and don't want to write them off.. i will always have faith and back them up... but come on boys give me something to work with!!!!

I love west coast no matter what, whether we see a grandfinal this year or not for a long time, you dont write your team off EVER. It was absolutely gold watching them win the grand final in 2006 and I dont care if it takes them 10 years to get another one, Ill still be loyal to the WCE.

I'am worried, very worried. It seems too me we lack leadership on the field when we really need someone too stand up and change the game.It was Ben's job and now there is no one.We have been hurt very badly over the last year and the boy's now need too stand united and bloody shut every one up....I for one am sick of the constant abuse I cop as a supporter by other feral supporters. They will be in a final you just watch and see,it is a very brave person who writes the Eagles off!!!!!

Thank goodness its happening now!! They've just got to communicate more and as Angela said work together and stop making silly mistakes. I agree they need to sort out the forward structure a bit better but everywhere else there are great signs for West Coast for the coming years. Don't rush for that panic button just yet......last years grand finalist (even tho they lost dismally and it couldn't have happened to a nicer team) are still 0-3!!

Yes I'm pushing the panic button already - can you seriously see us beating Sydney, Hawthorn, Geelong, Port or even Collingwood & the Bulldogs any time soon?

Frustration is too much of an understated word. I believe the boys could still be at least a top 8 team, but the direction they are currently heading is no where near there. It looks like a total lack of communication is going on, plus a forward line that doesn't know what to do when the ball is headed for them. C'mon guy's, less handballing around like fairies, and more direct kicking!! Will be at the Swan's game next week, how about introducing yourselves to each other!! TIC....maybe.

Not sure about this year Victoria, but the eagles have a really young list with plenty of potential and a core of experienced players who can still play. Give em a year or two and they will bounce back.

Yeah we will! Our team has some fantastic players - just need to get them working together
Natalie from Perth (Eagles supporter), 5 Apr 2008 11:05 hide comment
yeah we will, definately, this year i think we'll end around number 5 on the ladder, all we need to do is work out how to work together again without cus.. and they showed what they could do in round one, we just need the passion again. i think we'll be seeing another grandfinal in 2010!!!

After 2 rounds!!! talk about jumping off the band wagon and pressing the panic button.
