Fletch is struggling and needs a couple of weeks in the WAFL. Im also happy Priddis is injured he got 28 touches last week but done nothing with it his disposal going forward is dispicable. Very soft at the footy too.

priddis soft? u must be joking. He has more hard ball gets than any eagle this season and puts his head over it way more than cuz or juddy ever did. Yes his disposal needs to sharpen up, but that will come with experience. He's only in his second season of AFL don't forget.

I've always said Fletch was shocking but until now he's been living in RoJo's shadow. Now that he's gone everyone can see how useless Fletch really is!
This elderly lady that sits near us hardly ever yells out much but at the Derby, she stood up and very loudly shouted "For ****sake Chad Fletcher - Man Up!" I guess you had to be there but was priceless!

I still think Fletch has alot to offer, if he didn't Woosh wouldn't have picked him, true he has been up to his old standard but hopefully he'll stop thinking if he looks hot for all the chicks on the ground and start thinking of how he can get that ball up field!! hehe no but now most of his mid field has gone (Judd & Cuz) he really has to step up! i think he can...

Another poor performance against the dockers from fletch, nicoski slightly better (although couldn't have been worse than last week) and Staker was reasonable.

Its going to be a long, painful season for us i fear

Putting Fletch back to the Wafl would not work, he would get 30 odd possessions and get another call up, He is not that bad, give him time.
Mel (Eagles supporter), 3 Apr 2008 8:45 hide comment
I've been saying that since the 2005 GF.

The season has but just started.
Go Chad he'll be right.
He's just warming up.

Agreed, but not as bad as nikoski on the w-end - talk about a shocker!

Fletch double handles too much under pressure and his great delivery when in space has almost disappeared.

Staker is still our third passenger. When will his footy brain ever get switched on.

Andrew from Perth (Eagles supporter), 28 Mar 2008 11:22 hide comment
yeh what happened to him. a one time all australian and now he cant even kick a decent ball!

Well unfortunately they dropped Rosa and not Fletch this week ........ Rosa tried his heart out last week, whereas Fletch did **** all. As much as I love him he needs to get back to the basics (ie. WAFL). I am glad though they've brought in Masten --- similar to Judd hey, Judd debuted in round 2 after an awesome debut in the WAFL ....... who knows, could be another superstar in the making
