Hnads Down Lenny Hayes
He shouldve been made captain this year
He is a dedicated player
He plays with his heart on his sleeve
Is hard at the Ball
Makes space
SHOULD'VE BEEN CAPTAIN

I also love Steven Baker
He has to be one of the best taggers in the comp

Dal Santo is my favourite because he is just so slick when he has the ball, rarely misses a target. I go to games just to see him play.
Darcy (Saints supporter), 31 Mar 2008 15:06hide comment reply to Darcy's comment
I disagree, I think Dal doesn't put in 100% like others such as Lenny, Baker, Fisher, etc. Sorry if I offended you, but that's jsut what I see when I see him play.

Justin Koschitzke. He would be a great player but those injuries have almost killed him. Get him to play on a day where he's fully fit and see what he can do!

Cant believe Robert Harvey hasnt got a mention on here yet, the day he retires i will cry!!! CHAMPION and still underated!! 2nd pick is stevie baker, what a little champ, smallest bloke out there and walks the tallest!
Matt (Saints supporter), 17 Apr 2008 18:36hide comment reply to Matt's comment
robert harvey by a absolute mile. i had a cried wen stewart loewe retired. he went out in style though, against the demons, he kicked the first goal off the match. god i remeber that game....

the day harvey retires i will cry. i love him. absolute champion. the onli reason he isnt rated with hird buckley n voss (he is better then all, maybe equal with voss) is because he wasnt a show pony or stepped out of line.

after harvey its lenny and then maxy.. good old reliable injury prone maxy.

Robbie Harvey. PPLLEEAASSEE Sainters let's win a flag for Robbie and let him retire the way a true champion should. Close 2nd is my darling Fraser, mmm yum yum!!!

When is Stevie Baker back?
Damien from Melbourne (Saints supporter), 23 Apr 2008 13:17hide comment reply to Damien's comment
I agree Jesska, my fave's are the tough players.

S Baker for sure, one of the less talented, but a B&F winner because of his toughness, determination, attitude and plays for the team not himself!

Lenny should be captain, and here's hoping L Ball can have an injury free season.

Daniel from Adelaide (Saints supporter), 24 Apr 2008 14:07hide comment reply to Daniel's comment
The problem with Luke Ball is that he is a confused fottballer. He has been told he's too soft and so this year has changed his game to be harder at the player. In trying to get more tackles, (rather than being harder at the ball) he has forgotten how to actually get his hands on the footy. His possession tally from 04/05 was averaging 25 a game now well under 20

My fav is Stephen Milne. He's so quick and I love the way he runs around under everyones armpits. I'll never forget the time he kicked 11 goals. We have the spunkiest players on our team too.

Yeah all the way Wendy.. i love lil milne. 44 is the greatest. he kicks 2 goals a game on average and rising. he kicks them from impossible angels and he celebrates with such a passion. he really gets the crowd and players going

bally has been my favourite player since he first started...there was just something about him and the way he played that I love. hes a great guy and a great player - last few years he has struggled but injury free he will get back to his best.

and of course harves. every saints supporter loves that man. he is the true image of the st.kilda footy club and i will be shattered when he retires (unless he has gone out with a flag. that will make me the happiest person alive)

Montagna because he looks like Michael from Prison break!

Nick Dal Santo...just too good...
We got a lot of good mid in our team...but we still arent good as Geelong
If all our mid play like a team...im sure we can beat them easily...
2nd one 4 me...FRASER !!!!!! G-Train
He is champ...but he is too slow and lazy now...not as good as 4 years ago...but still love him....bloody awesome

GO SAINTS !!

Sally from Melbourne (Saints supporter), 11 May 2008 22:47hide comment reply to Sally's comment
Yes, I have to go for Harves and his successor in the dedicated and hard working player, Lenny Hayes.
I think most of them are great. Very impressed with Armytage and Charlie Gardiner and hope we'll soon see more of the boys tried out in the nab cup.
