TRY BOWDEN AS A FORWARD??
Surely there is a spot in the side somewhere for joel bowden. Im thinking they should try him up forward.. He has a great footy brain, a good pair of hands and is also a great kick. Too good a player to be running around with coburg.

Justin what forward structure mate. What kids are performing. I want to see the kids get ago but riewoldt just doesnt kick goals and eddy needs time, you need some experience and bowden helped the kids in backline maybe he can help em learne forward as he is very smart footballer. PLus his not greedy and would rather help the young blokes get a goal than himself unlike brown

i agree partly with matt maybe put him on oppostie wing but id rather see him rotate with richo on the wing and full forward when richo is resting. Both can be hard to match up both play well spare in back line and both play well forward. Obviously richo is better but bowden can be very dangerous if played right. Dont right bowden of yet if wallace gives him a real go. Wallace said no more backline for bowden then plays him there the next two weeks cause he cant organise his backline. WAKE UP WALLET (wallace)

fairly sure Bowden started his career as a forward and only through injury he switched position
he's got the smarts and the bulk to mix it as a forward although if we do play him in the forward line then brown or say edwards needs to be paired with him to crumb cos when the ball hits the turf he is gonna get destroyed

I think they could play him on the other wing. It works so well with the great man Richo. Bowden is an expert at playing loose man in defence if they want to drop a number back and he has shown in the past he can kick goals if they want to move him forward.

He has been playing up forward for Coburg. Terry told him that he will not fit in the backline anymore so he would have to learn to play somewhere else. He has been playing at centrehalf forward and has been ok....not great but ok. I personally think that if he doesnt get back in there soon that he will be down at Balwyn with patty next year.
