Daniel Wells
Wat can we do about Daniel Wells. Yes he gets the ball but he needs to alot more with it, its dissapoiting to see the amount he is talked up. Lets put him back in the VFL for a week or 2 so he can get his heart back in the game.

Yeah For sure, Wells does have the talent, sending him back to the reserves could give him a wake up call, or even give him a running role like Leigh Harding out of defence and even the kick in duties just so that he gets his hands on the ball.

Trading him, i wouldnt even think about it, he is going to be a 1 club player, all he needs is another year or two, he will be a champion!

He has the ability to be a game breaker but at stages he looks like he's just cruising in second gear. He's my favourite player at North but we need so much more out of him! Maybe in a couple of weeks when he's right to go again give him a week in the 2's to get him firing then bring him back into the seniors.........

I agree Brett, Wells has been getting better every week. i still thinkl it is a confidence thing with his knee. another couple of weeks and he will be back to his awesum self.... no negative comments please. lets all stick together

I also agree with Brett and Milton. Wells has had a really good last month. Could be a little more selfish, and not pass to blokes standing 45 out that generally butcher the ball.

Don't worry about waiting for Daniel to "explode"...if he plays 250 games at the same standard as pre-injury last year, and the last few weeks, I'll be happy.

Trade him.... He's from the West and Daniel Kerr is available.

Wellsy is not far off a standout game, he kicked an awesome goal against west coast when he split 4 eagles defenders. That should give him more confidence.

he's been really good the last couple of games

DANIEL WELLS is a star, he gets the hard ball. alot of the so called superstars hang out the back for the easy one.
only crticism is that he is not selfish enough! he should get some tapes of daniel kerrs games.
steve we dont need negative supporters, i go to all games and see how hard wellsy works off the ball

I also reckon the senior players need to encourage him during games when his confidence drops a bit. We need him to get the ball more, he always hits targets.

Wells needs some confidence and encouragement from supporters. He's been gettin around 20 odd possessions the last few weeks, and his chasing has been good (should've been paid so many holding the balls its not funny). I reckon hes not far off having a standout game. As soon as he kicks a goal, his confidence will lift even more.
