Heart not in it
After watching yesterday. I have to agree with a lot of topics.
David Netiz is not playing with the pasion that should be shown by a leader of such a great club.
But what do we do,every club has it's ledership group with older exp players, we do not have a new group of leaders that can step up as yet
A lot more pasion is required for us to win ,Robbo showed some form late in the game.
Davey showed early pace which is good to see but faded good player taged out of the game.
Brad Green not playing to his best is better player than what we are seeing
Carrol not there.
Think huge changes still need before we start the long climb back up the ladder

I don't believe the passion of David Neitz can be questioned. Lets be honest, he's only stuck around this long because he loves the club and will bleed for it as long as people ask it of him. Many lessor men would have retired on top of their game.

Unfortunately, the sombre truth of the matter is, whilst his passion still burns, his talent has faded. I believe the best way for Neitz to continue to provide leadership is to return to his All-Australian position of centre-half back, where at least he will be a big body in defence.

This will open up the forward line to the likes of Newton in a year that must surely be deemed as one demanding the continued blooding of our next generation.

i think the best way i believe to cope with this season, is to put it to a "rebuilding" year. I look at the preformances and the attitudes of ther players and i dont see any real heart or leadership, but maybe thats due to the behind the scenes work. Maybe, i dont know, i look forward to each new season with hope, but get discouraged after a few games, so maybe next year, after the rebuilding one...

As a true blue demon suporter i think you are right jack rebuild.
try as many young playes that we have.
It will take more than one season.
so lets hope we can win a few games this season but 4 games does not make a full season
