Although it would be great to see Crawf rack up his 300th in front of 70,000 at the G, it is vitally important for him to start playing consecutive games leading into the finals even if that means playing a milestone game in Tassie. Lets not forget the amount of work this club has put in place to establish a base in Tassie, in a time where a lot of Melbourne clubs are looking shaky, talk about establishing a boutique ground to cater for smaller attendences (what better than at Launceston), and the general attitude of the AFL to deny Tassie a team. It is even more important we provide our Taswegian cousins an alternative in the form of the Mighty Hawks. Think of the financial predicament our club would be in if we had to play the likes of Brisbane, Freo, Adelaide, Port, and Sydney at the G or the dome, thats right the club would be in financial ruin. So cheer up pick up a slab from the bottle-o and cheer on from the comfort of your lounge room, at least you won't be paying $6 for a midstrength beer in a plastic cup.
