crawf becomes one of the greatest players to live in a weeks time
Not many players reach this milestone, in particular, not many reach it and are still going strong. he is still one of the fittest on the field, and his expertice is worth his weight in gold.
only think missing is the cup, and we should have that this year

Hopefully the boys can give Crawf a happy 300th and beat the Lions by 50 points.
Crawf has one dream left and if we can atleast make the prelim it might give us hope for our 10th premiership..

one of the greatest huh....yeah well hes been a damn good footballer but using the reference 'one of the greatest' is a bit rich. Crawf would fall at the back end of one of the greatest of all time...carn hawks

mate not many players have or will achieve in their career, what crawf is about to do. He has been fantatsic through the **** and through the good times. Had it not been for all his comedic antics he would definately be held in higher regards as a player.

as a professional athlete crawf is supreme...however when I hear the term 'one of the greatest players to live' I become...well I become almost judgemental...maybe this will put it into context...IF crawf played 300 games for the current Geelong team (I know god forbid) would u consider such a remark applicable? I really couldnt care less about crawfs xtra curricular activities...its the footballer Im interested in...that goes for any footballer past and present...I do love crawf as a footballer and have enjoyed watching his career from the beginning...hes a bloody good footballer...I dont like saying this but crawf will never make the AFL hall of fame and most likely very few of Hawthorns superior tribute teams (retrospective)...and yes 300 'plus' games is a great achievement...

PJ...not many players have achieved what crawf has....4 B & Fs, a Brownlow, representation in every possible elite team, players most valuable player and the list goes on....i'm happy to put a bet on him making the hall of fame in years to come! Lets hope he can add a premiership to the list before he retires!

Patrick, I cant believe u doubt Crawf's fitness....its his knee thats gone down not his fitness, I would challenge anyone to a fitness test against crawf, he trains like no other footballer and has the stamina to out run most taggers. He's a complete legend and I too hope we can get him a flag!

I agree still one of fittest going around, and his experience will be a big asset come the finals. Crawf is a superstar, 300 games well deserved. Lets hope we can go deep in to the finals series for Crawf... Go Hawks

yeh I have a premonition that crawf will hang up his boots at the end of this season. I dont think that his fitness is that good. i know its sad but it might be the way to go.

i hope he doesn't come up this week (after all, it is a long flight to tassie), and plays his 300th in Melbourne at the G.

I didn't sit through years of arse whoopings in the 90s and earlier this decade to, not be able to see Crawf play his 300th in melbourne where the real fans are.
