It’s a funny little football nation this one. Where the hell, do these so-called professional journalists live? The real world- I highly doubt it.
Typically, ineffectual miss-leading comments are accountable by an equal or greater response. Honestly, is Clarkson apologising because he hurt the little man’s feelings?
Journalists absolutely love to tarnish, slander and bigot football clubs for ‘anomalistic behaviour’.
The issue between Clarkson and that ineffable nonplus journalist doesn’t warrant the condemnation the media and Clarkson have bestowed. Clarkson had every right to express his view of dismayed displeasure in that particular forum (post- match press conference).
The main issue that needs canvassing is the insipid response that Brett Stubbs provided. This particular person should stop hiding behind the elite machines of moral panic and start using his ‘big boy voice’.
Clarkson is a tough, up front; wear your heart on your sleeve type of person. In his presence of conviction, Clarkson demands respect and accountability. This unquestionable stance was evident in his playing days and most recently, his coaching career, all salient, to the makeup of the man.
Plainly speaking either journalists should harden the **** up or return to their desks to swindle in moralistic bastardisation.
Let the ‘real men’ dictate the course of the world’s greatest football code.
