Geelong by how far in 2008
Watching the cats and other teams, their is only 3 or four who might take Port's place in another GF Flogging this year.

hawks will be in the grand final. st kilda have no hope they can only play one quarter of football a week. and collingwood a contender dont make me laugh

Cats not even trying yet wait till they play pies 100 points plus, just wait and see.

the cats need to iumprove on clearing the centre bounces and the run through the corrdier door to be anything like what they were last year. they destoryed teams last year by quick clearances and their linking run through the corridier

would have to say hawthorn is our greatest threat this year,
have a very young side. but wont have a chance against our cats

Keep King lose Blake, don't think so .Blake is future King has two or three years most.Collingwood is still Geelongs biggest danger.

i wouldn't have got rid of king but when blake starts kicking goals from 50 it pays off but i thought st kilda had a chance but after throwing friday night away against the bullies i think maybe hawthorn who were the only team we didn't beat last year because we only played them once

St. Kilda, I suppose... especially as they've got King now (I can't believe we let him go, he was brilliant in 2007's GF!) I suppose they had to let him go to hold on to Mark Blake, but I would have let Blake go, he's a bit of a klutz.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves and focus on the task at hand. We'd better hope Ottens stays fit cos there's not a lot of genuine ruck depth just yet now that King is at St. Kilda

At full strength, theres no reason Geelong cant go back to back this year... depth is still pretty solid to cover injuries and such as well.

On the other hand, the teams to be wary of will be Hawks (who we really don't have a flattering record against), St Kilda (if they keep their best on the park, watch that rivalry reignite again) & Collingwood (hate to say it, but they got heaps from kids last year & could get better again).

Gotta be another heads down, bum up year again or we risk 2006 over again.

Second quarter was very average and with the team we had in St Kilda should of smashed us, Happy with the second half.
