Good Form, Us and HAwthorne
we are showing that we can keep the same form from last year but if you have noticed some teams have started to pick up on our game play.... for example the other undefeated team in the league the hawks...are starting to play the same style of football as us and seems to be working.... will make for a very interesting game when we play....

ne oppinions?>???

a few points here:
1. Hawthorn's game plan is a little different from Geelong. For starters they try to push you wide from the kick in. No other teams hates going wide as much as Geeloing, they are typical with going through the corridor so that could be interesting.
2. Hawthorn yet to prove themselves as they choked big time in the finals last year.
3. I guarantee you will see the cream rise to the top when Geelong's forward line go up against Hawthorn's dodgey backline.
and most importantly 4. Geelong have been playing in 3rd gear yet are still winning games, you can't say the same about Hawthorn, they have been playing in 1st gear all year. I will be interested to see how long they can keep that up but there is no way a team can play their best all year. Geelong havent shown us their best this year like the way they played last year. we have seen the very best of Hawthorn.
Don't get ahead of yourself Hawthorn supporters... early days.. I feel sorry for the team that plays Geelong in the grand final this year...

I can't wait until we play the Hawks. Only prob is i'm anticipating it so much, and who knows what will happen between now and then.
To think that at this time last year, the end of round six, we had only just begun our brilliant and unstoppable playing.

I think the exprience of geelong list will be benefical when playing hawthorne. As yet the hawks have had to deal with little pressure and have one major forward. If we shut down buudy and put greater pressure on the smaller forwards to perform as well as presuure in the midfield i believe that our backline will do enough and the forwards will will be to good for there backline
